Cleansing and clarifying, this anti-dandruff shampoo has been specially formulated to remove the irritation and potential embarrassment that dry, flaky scalps too often bring. Developed by 'The Hair Doctor', Philip Kingsley, whose work centred around scalp (as well as hair) heath, this formula was originally created for Sir Laurence Olivier. Unlike other dandruff treatments, Flaky Itchy Scalp Shampoo does not dry out the hair or strip it of colour, gently cleansing with specialised ingredients instead and removing build up and irritation, so effectively that 99% of those tested in a consumer trial said that it cleared their flaky scalp. With a delicate apple fragrance, this can be used every day as your main shampoo, or in conjunction with the shampoo recommended for your hair texture. Apply to wet hair
Lather well with a gentle kneading of the scalp
Rinse and repeat if necessary
Follow with the appropriate Philip Kingsley conditioner and scalp toner

Works well! Quite pricey so I only use this once a week but works! It does have some concerning ingredients in there so not sure I would keep repurchasing and think the serum from PK works just as well and that bottle has lasted me like 6 months but that has alcohol in, just wish they would sort ingredients out

Great to use for clearing a flaky scalp. I like to use it every time I wash my hair to prevent bad dandruff. It doesn't have a bad smell like other anti-dandruff products. It can be a bit drying, but that's not an issue when paired with a good conditioner.

Great for an itchy scalp
I definitely notice a change in my scalp health whenever I use this shampoo. My scalp feels lighter and there’s less build up. I wish it was a little bit more hydrating on the hir strands though hence why I give it 4 stars. I will buy again to use as a tray enemy rather than an every wash shampoo

So far so good!
I haven’t been using this for very long so can’t give it 5 stars yet, but my scalp definitely feels less itchy and I’ve been using less dry shampoo. Smells really nice and the texture is thick so you may want to lather in hands first. Will have to keep using it to see how it works longterm.

Miracle cure
I had spent two years trying all sorts of shampoos to cure my sore and flaking scalp, including medicated ones which leave your hair a dry mess. This is pricey but I took the plunge and ordered it and I can’t see myself using another shampoo again, it’s improved my scalp so much. It can get a little dry and flaky again if I leave it any more than two days between washes, and you definitely need to shampoo twice for it to feel clean, but I’m so happy with it overall.
