Cleansing and clarifying, this anti-dandruff shampoo has been specially formulated to remove the irritation and potential embarrassment that dry, flaky scalps too often bring. Developed by 'The Hair Doctor', Philip Kingsley, whose work centred around scalp (as well as hair) heath, this formula was originally created for Sir Laurence Olivier. Unlike other dandruff treatments, Flaky Itchy Scalp Shampoo does not dry out the hair or strip it of colour, gently cleansing with specialised ingredients instead and removing build up and irritation, so effectively that 99% of those tested in a consumer trial said that it cleared their flaky scalp. With a delicate apple fragrance, this can be used every day as your main shampoo, or in conjunction with the shampoo recommended for your hair texture. Apply to wet hair
Lather well with a gentle kneading of the scalp
Rinse and repeat if necessary

Great product!
After using various purple shampoos for my blonde hair, my scalp had become itchy and notticed dandruff on my tops. I bought this shampoo and conditioner, and after the first wash my scalp felt better. I used it as per instructions, and now no itchy head, and no embarrassing flakes. The conditioner feels lovely too!

Good shampoo for hormonal change
Due to pre-menopause hormonal change, I started having itchy scalp that sometimes also have slight dandruff flakes. Tried many shampoo but no effect until I started using this shampoo and use it with the scalp lotion. After 2 weeks, I stopped having embarrassing moments of scratching my scalp and now on maintenance basis, I use shampoo twice a week but continue with the scalp lotion on daily basis after I wash my hair. Highly recommended series.

good but not the best
I had tried it for 2 months, for me, it worked for the first month, then almost all dandruff showed up again and the shampoo didn't help after that good 1 month.

Amazing!
I have tried a couple of other shampoos for flaky and itchy scalps and this one is by far the best! I saw results immediately after the first use. It also lathers up really nicely, unlike most of the other ones. Definitely recommend!

This is going to be my forever shampoo, except when I'm intrigued to try something new. It is absolutely amazing, and not only if you have an itchy scaly, it really makes your have absolutely amazing, shinny, soft, and doesn't flatten it. LOVE IT. I tried the moisturizing and body building shampoos, neither were too special for me, but this is my favorite!

I have tried everything from medicated to tar shampoos and nothing has helped my scalp like this one. It is honestly a life saver, I would highly recommend this shampoo to anyone suffering any kind of discomfort on their scalp. It smells lovely and lathers really well!

Scalp Saver!
This is an absolute winner. After years of troublesome scalp issues which flare up with stress, a friend pointed me in the direction of this Philip Kingsley range. It works! Within a few days my scalp was noticeably better and I can’t imagine using anything else again.

Brilliant
I really love this shampoo, it deeply cleanses but is very gentle. I don't have an intense scalp condition, but it gets itchy from time to time, so far after using this, I haven't experienced any irritation. I love to try new things all the time because of my job, but I can definitely see myself re-buying this in the near future.
