Cleansing and clarifying, this anti-dandruff shampoo has been specially formulated to remove the irritation and potential embarrassment that dry, flaky scalps too often bring. Developed by ‘The Hair Doctor’, Philip Kingsley, whose work centred around scalp (as well as hair) heath, this formula was originally created for Sir Laurence Olivier. Unlike other dandruff treatments, Flaky Itchy Scalp Shampoo does not dry out the hair or strip it of colour, gently cleansing with specialised ingredients instead and removing build up and irritation, so effectively that 99% of those tested in a consumer trial said that it cleared their flaky scalp. With a delicate apple fragrance, this can be used every day as your main shampoo, or in conjunction with the shampoo recommended for your hair texture. Apply to wet hair
Lather well with a gentle kneading of the scalp
Rinse and repeat if necessary

not helping
Been using it for about 2 months. Do not have a feeling it is doing anything for my itchy scalp. Even have a feeling my hair is getting greasy faster than before.

Amazing
I was suffering from a very itchy and irritated scalp and was experiencing 'hair hurt' so I decided to try this shampoo out and it honestly worked wonders. It really helped with my itchy and irritated scalp. I like to use it as a clarifying shampoo when I double shampoo once every week or once every two weeks. It works really well to get rid of any product or oil build up on my scalp and prevents it from getting itchy or from hurting. So I definitely recommend it!!

Not for me
I would use this sparingly. It's a good clarifying shampoo but can be drying. I prefer a more nourishing shampoo for my dry scalp. I won't repurchase this.

It works, but just not for me
I have a dry flaky/ itchy scalp, most of the time I create my own hair mask with coconut oil and caster oil, and usually works to keep it at bay. I thought I would give this a go and see how I get on. In the first wash noticed a difference, the scalp was less itchy and cleared some scabs, and lathered really well. But I did notice my hair was left very dry, and prone to breakage, there was also a lot of hair fall out... So I'm just sticking to my usual routine.

Works so well !!
I was suffering from dry scalp and used this shampoo a couple of times + the toner from the same line, and my scalp feels great and no dandruff! First, I bought the 75 ml size to try if you are not sure the mini sizes are a great way to test. My boyfriend also loved it so now decided to buy a 1l size. Unfortunately, it was sold out at cult beauty so had to find an alternative way to get it. Great product!

Soothing and gentle
I love this shampoo. It's so gentle and soothing on my scalp. It cleared my flaky scalp issue and I now use this all the time to keep my scalp healthy.
