Great
Thin oil, works great for curly hair, especially dry.

Good but thin oil
The oil makes my hair shiny and nice, but it´s a bit too thin so I need to use nearly 10 drops for my long hair. I use 5 before blowdrying and 5 after as when I blowdry it, it just doesn´t look like it has given moisture and shine to my hair.

My go to product from now on
I bought this product for the first time and I'm sold, I will stick to this. My hair is blonde and I have fine hairs and the oil does not weigh my hair down so it should work for everyone.

Didn't work for me
I got this oil just because all of the reviews being super positive and lots of people were mentioning that Playa oil is suitable for thin hair. Despite the fact that ingredients are good, it didn't work for my hair at all. First of all - I didn't like the smell - it's a strong smell of sunflower oil with a bit vanilla/cinnamon in it. My boyfriend didn't like it either, I really envy the girls that loved it. Secondly - as lots of other reviews mentioned - the packaging is not convenient, every time I open it, I'm so scared to drop the bottle, because it will just go everywhere since the oil itself is so runny. And finally - I have no idea how to use it without making my hair oily. I used super tiny one drop and warmed it in my hands and lightly tapped on my damp ends, but after an hour or 2 - (sometimes straight away) my hair just became and look horribly oily. I don't dare to put Playa even in my mid-length or flyaway hair because it just instantly makes my hair greasy. The amount of time when I had to rewash my hair after this oil is insane, but I still don't give up on it because of the high price and the good ingredients. I started to add it in my hair masks now, because its the only way how I can use it.

Lovely product, horrid packaging
This is a really nice product. I use it as a finishing oil on dry hair and it makes my wavy tresses moisturised, shiny and soft. Scent is alright, nothing special. The main letdown was the packaging. While the tall bottle is gorgeous on my nightstand, it's completely impractical and I was so afraid of tipping over the entire bottle every time I took the cap off. The pipette also stopped working after a few uses, so I decanted everything into a used Ouai hair oil bottle and it's been magical ever since.

Didnt work
I really wanted to love this oil, and I did expect a lot from it since all the reviews were super positive and it was at the high-end price range. After finishing my Kerastase and Moroccanoil hair oils, I couldn't wait to try Playa, but unfortunately, it didn't work for me at all. First of all - as many mentioned before - the packaging is not the best, you need to take your time to put the oil in your hands, otherwise, there is a high chance you might knock the bottle down and it will spill everywhere. The smell of this oil is also not as good as I thought it would be. It does smell like sunflower oil with a bit of vanilla in it. I don't mind it - but I don't love it either. My boyfriend hates this smell on my hair. The oil itself is supper runny, and it makes my thin hair extremely oily. I'm using this oil for 3 weeks now, and I try a tiny-tiny bit just rub between my hands and slightly tap on the damp hair ends, but after my hair dries - it looks oily and it happened several times when I had to rewash my hair because of that. I still don't give up on it because of the price I paid and because of the quality ingredients it has, but so far - its the worst oil I used ( and I used a lot!) I usually love the stuff I get from Cult Beauty, but I wanted to warn other people about this oil - I got it because of super positive reviews, but it might not work for thin hair as it makes it oily. My hair just doesn't like it and refuse to absorb it (which is weird, because I do have a damaged end) I would recommend getting a sample before buying a full bottle.

Packaging lets it down
I'm not madly in love with this oil like others on your website. I feel that the packaging really lets this product down as it looks very pretty but why didn't the brand put this in a standard pump or squeeze bottle?. The fact that this is a long thin bottle, extracting the oil using a pipette is just asking for trouble when you're getting ready in the morning. Unfortunately, I've nearly knocked it over a dozen times. Plus the pipette doesn't work on my bottle and I actually had to use my teeth to get the button back up. Good but could be so much better.

Amazing
This is by far the best hair oil I have ever used. It is not at all greasy or heavy. It makes your hair smell great and gives it moisture and shine, making it look healthy. You only need a small amount and can use it on wet or dry hair. There is no build up either. Absolutely fabulous.

I don’t get the hype
This is a very runny oil. That being said it’s lightweight but it won’t make your hair feel any softer. The worst thing is the smell. All of the products in this range smell horrible. It’s a stale scent that you do not want in your hair. Overall overpriced and bad.
