Not the biggest fan of the smell
I’ve given this three stars because it is a nice oil. A little goes a long way and it leaves my skin feeling really soft and sinks into the skin nicely. I’ve only knocked off two stars as I’m not the biggest fan of the smell. I was hoping this would have a nice fresh rose smell but this has a really traditional Rose scent that’s also kind of herby? I don’t mind using this at night but I wouldn’t use this in the morning as I wouldn’t want to be out and about smelling of it.

had high hopes
Wow, I had high hopes for this oil and was so excited to have it delivered so quick! I love shopping at Cult Beauty. I thought it would have a nice rose smell but instead, it smelled like a two-day-old orange flavoured green tea bag mixed with boiled rose water. I know that’s a very strange and specific description but that’s literally what it smells like. I smell like an old lady having it on and I am self-conscious. It also does not moisturize at all. It just sits on top of my skin being all greasy. I’m so glad I didn’t get the body scrub I was so close to adding it to my cart! Way too pricey for what it is. The only thing I can say is that because it sits on my skin, it gives my moisturizer some “slip” so it makes it easier for me to spread my lotion all around.
