A unique product
This is a really beautiful product, and the sisters who own Rituel de Fille really should be commended for creating beautifully natural products. The only problem is *because* they are natural, they can be difficult to work with, as they go hard and can be drying. I have Obsidian and it’s beautiful, but you definitely need the right tools and patience. With these, you can create some stunning looks.

Not recommended
I had high hopes for this product. Picked up three shades (Obsidian, Serpent de Mer, Half Light). The shades looked very sophisticated and rich on the website. In person, all three were dry, had very lackluster color saturation once on the eye and were patchy to blend. The packaging is difficult to work with since you cannot properly dip your finger into the jars for maximum color payoff.

Love These
I've 3 of these gorgeous little pots - sigil, half light and Incantation. The texture is a creamy powder and they all have a slight shimmer which is very subtle, not glittery. They are easy to apply and build colour and don't set too quickly. They feel so comfortable to wear. I have quite dry eyelids, particularly in the inner corners and don't like powder eyeshadow as it feels heavy and accentuates dryness/lines. I have no creasing with these eye soots and are very light weight. They are expensive, but are so highly pigmented that they're going to last a very long time.

Obsessed!
I have been wanting to try the RDF eye soots for a while and took a plunge on buying two and got a 3rd free(half light) I bought shades Love spell and Sigil. These are so different to any other eye shadow product I’ve ever used and they go on the eyes so beautifully blended and natural. If you want a more striking payoff just gradually build the colour up either using your finger or a decent brush. I like to use a setting spray with these as they are an all natural ingredient base and I find they stay on lovely with no issue. Will definitely be buying more of these.

Solid clean beauty option
I ordered 2 shades of this eye soot. Love spell I’ve had before - it’s a lovely copper colour. Exuviae is a plum hued red. You need a stiff round brush to get the product out efficiently (or fingers) the pot shape is not ideal. But the formula is very good and long lasting for a clean beauty shadow. It isn’t super sparkly but has a lovely gleam and the colours are complex and great for one and done shadows.

Poor
I'm very disappointed with this RDF shadow, because I find creases badly. With or without primer, it looks bad almost immediately. There is a slight iridescence but not as much as hoped for. The colour is extremely dark, almost a black-purple. Not sure that I will keep it: if so it will be purely for travel or a tiny handbag. The pot is so minute that you need a small, pointy brush to get out the product.

Not worth it
For the amount of money you pay, the amount of product you get and the quality is not worth it. The colour is a lot darker and less gold than advertised, it doesn't blend well and it doesn't last throughout the day. Overall not that good

Okay - doesn't last long
Love the colour (Serpent De Mer and Exuviae), although shows up lighter than the colours on the website and I have to put on quite a few layers to get a lovely dark hue as shown in the swatch images. Also they don't last all day, a few hours at most but do fade to a lovely lighter version of the colour and then completely disappear on my lids! Great texture and really comfortable to wear if you find powder shadows irritating or have sensitive eyes, for that alone (also the amount you receive) they're worth the cost. I found the heat of your fingertips helps to move this product around and intensifies the colour, I can also easily place my finger in the pot unlike some other reviewers suggested, but that's obviously dependent on what size your fingers are! If you have nails and can't easily pick up product then scrape some with the back of your nail and place on your fingertips; personally I don't think the small size of the pots is that much of a nuisance as some reviews have suggested, just adapt your application.
