buildable to hyper glow

Not as alien looking as the image shows, it's swatches more of a subtle icy pink. Definitely buildable, you can start off sheer but tapping on layers will increase its duochrome shine

Great for everyday glow

Rituel De Fille's highlighters tend to have an otherworldly shade, but this i think is the most wearable especially if its your first product from the brand. There's a nice golden dewy look.

Nice but the texture is not for everyone

This looks beautiful but not the best choice if you have an oilier complexion

Lovely

I'm a huge fan of Rituel De Fille eye soots and this is another stunning product. It's a very light highlighter (I have Icebow) that catches the light beautifully. I find some highlighters to heavy, brash and difficult to blend, but this is lovely to use and gives a subtle iridescence. Particularly looking forward to using it in spring/summer.

Solaris

Ethereal and barely there but very wearable and gives a warming glow to your skin

A miss for me.

This is a miss for me! It’s not very pigmented and the texture just doesn’t work, it pulls when applied over my base and makes my makeup patchy. Might be user error but I had high hopes for this and it’s just not great.

Unusual and lovely!

It’s quite an unexpected consistency, like a cream but quite firm, but it creates a really nice subtle, almost glass-like glow! A really nice product

Great formula and easy to apply

A more subtle highlighter when applied - gives a slight icy gleam but is a neutral gel formula (although it's not clear if this leaves a white cast on darker skin tones). Easy to apply and doesn't emphasize texture. Get it now!

Gorgeous, barely there beauty

I have waaay too many highlighters, all of which were in various shades of champagne or gold, and all of which were powder. I'm probably very late to the party, but I honestly didn't realise there were cream highlighters out there, and even if I had, I would have imagined they would be difficult to apply and not blend well with the rest of my makeup. Well, then THESE little pots of wonderfulness came into my life! Having already fallen in love with the Nectar Pigment Balm, I bought one of the Rare Light Luminisers in 'Solaris'. I was blown away, which is a strange way to express myself here, because what I was so impressed by was how subtle, beautifully complex, and, for lack of a better term, grown up it was! The product name suits it perfectly, 'Rare Light' is exactly right. You can only see it when the light hits you just right, otherwise there is just an ethereal glow, which reminds me of the sought after 'glass skin' look, it's certainly not a bad thing, I feel that this is one of the most sophisticated beauty products I own. When I mentioned earlier that this is beautifully complex, I mean that under the correct lighting you can see the delicate shimmer of the various golds, silvers, pinks, blues, violets etc, that make up each shade. I've since invested in Anthelion and Phosphene, and fully intend to add each one to my collection! I have also purchased The Alchemist, although I don't often use it. I might review that separately, but will just say that you definitely don't need it to enjoy these on their own! My only wish is that Cult Beauty stocked the full range, but unfortunately Rituel de Fille have several products that are exclusive to their website, and they don't ship to the UK. It should say a lot that this alone has led me to find a company which provides US PO Boxes for shipping to the UK, because I NEED to have these, along with many other RDF products not available in the UK in my life!

Icebow

Beautiful cream product, has a very soft natural glow. Shade is a very light champagne and works well on my skin (I'm super fair). I mostly use it to add a bit of glow if I'm not wearing any other makeup that day and it looks amazing! Arrived broken so the pan was separated from the compact which was a shame, but other than that can't fault it.
