I used this powder daily and found it to work just as well as some of the more expensive powders. I still prefer Laura Mercier though.

The perfect powder
This is a great translucent powder. It sets make up but doesn’t take away the glow or hydration of your base. You can layer it to create a more semi-mattifying effect. Requires a fine not compact brush for a lightweight feel.

I really enjoy this setting powder, it leaves my skin looking softly blurred but not matte or dry. However, the packaging has done something weird and the lid has locked itself tight, so I can no longer get into it unless I break it open. Not ideal, but probably a total fluke issue!

A setting powder for people who don’t like settings powders
Have always steered away from setting powders as have typically found they accentuate my fine lines and dry areas after a few hours. After reading positive reviews decided to give this a go to prolong my makeup during the upcoming warmer months and have been pleasantly surprised. It wears very well on my combo skin and certainly keeps my makeup looking better for longer where used. I tend to go for dewy and fresh looking makeup and the finish of this powder doesn’t detract from that, providing a satin finish.

It is a great powder, it has shimmer in it. I am not sure, home much is it visible on daylight… but the packaging is bad. Overall I like for the price but Hourglass is still my favorite.

Just missed the mark for me
I like this powder a lot. It has a beautiful silky feel, a nice sheen, it photographs beautifully and looks like skin APART from the very very tiny glitter particles. I can’t use it under my eyes cause it looks like I’ve got eyeshadow fall out (I wear Pat McGrath special shades a lot so don’t need any excess glittery specks!) For reference it has more than the hourglass ambient lighting powders. I don’t see many people mention this so maybe I got one with extra particles in. Or maybe I can only see them because I’m right up flush to the mirror and my mirror has lights on. I’m going to ask someone if they can see them next time I wear it.
