I got this as part of the summer goody bag and had high hopes as my perimenopausal skin has become congested and my usual skincare isn’t as effective. However I didn’t like the feel of it on my skin. It was sticky and uncomfortable even after half an hour. Glad it was a sample rather than full size.

Glowing results
I first bought this as part of the starter set but will be converting to full size when it runs out. I’m a big fan of Sunday Riley’s Good Genes but I do think this lactic acid competes. I also like that’s it’s part of a 3-4 step routine so it’s easy to follow. After 3 weeks using it, my skin felt smoother and more radiant.

Game changer!
Ok so I have combination skin that is acne prone. It breaks out A LOT but I’ve managed to keep that under control and I’ve been left with marks and hyperpigmentation. I haven’t used lactic acid in my routine before so I was very intrigued. Turns out, it is great for brightening skin and reduced my hyperpigmentation. You can tell that it’s a potent product so if you have sensitive skin just be careful. I like the lightweight texture of this serum and how quickly it absorbed into my skin. After 3 full weeks of use it’s definitely evened out my skin tone, I’m shook! Gifted by Shani Darden.
