In the evening after cleanser and toner, smooth 1-2 pumps to dry skin and allow to absorb. Can be followed with a lightweight moisturizer. Start with 1-2 times a week, add a day each week, build up to using as often as your skin can handle. It is not recommended to use multiple products containing acid ingredients on the same day.
As with all retinoid products, use a sunscreen every day during use.
Do not use if pregnant or nursing.

Really enjoyed it..
I really like this product I received as a sample. I used overnight and woke up with clearer skin which was bright and smooth. Yellow-ish consistency and runny, so it is easy to spread on the face. Ive never bought one skincare item over £60 but I will definitely buy this when my other retinol serum runs out!

Great product.
This was my first purchase of a retinol based product and having read some gruesome reports from some reviewers of different brands finally decided to go with Sharni Darden and I’m glad that I did. Despite having quite sensitive skin I have had no problems at all bar a little dryness which is suspect is par for the course. The consistency of the serum is nice and a little goes a long way. My pores definitely look smaller and overall my skin looks better. I will definitely keep on using.

Got this as a sample with a previous Cult Beauty order. Glad I didn’t buy this at full price because it’s not nice at all. Runny texture, not a serum or an oil, and stinks to high heaven, can’t even explain it. Felt tacky on the skin and I woke up with irritated and inflamed skin and a breakout. I’ve been using retinol previously and never had any problems, if anything this is a weaker formulation. It obviously just didn’t agree with me.

The best for sensitive skin
Honestly amazing. I have really sensitive skin but this did not cause any irritation! My skin looks more radiant and it has reduced my pigmentation spots in only a month of use. Well worth the price. Also Shani Darden herself is amazing and gives the best skincare tips on her instagram!

I have used this for roughly two weeks, in combination with Sarah Chapman's overnight serum, and the results are amazing - though I have been using it from the start every day and it might be difficult to establish which product is doing the most ;-)

Really makes a impact
I got a sample of this in the advent calendar and so glad they included this as its not something you'd think to pick up but its amazing! I use it mostly on my nose and T zone as they do get overly oily and get pretty textured if left, I put this on at night and wake up with the smoothest skin & reduces the texture more and more each time with 0 irritation. You really see results very quickly! The only con is that it smells pretty weird & the price is pretty steep however very much worth it when you see it working.

Not suitable for my rosacea-prone skin
I had high expectations for this but unfortunately, this serum made my skin worst than ever. I used it (as advised) for 3 weeks and hoped that my skin would get used to it. But no it did not. It has been over 2 weeks since I stopped using the product and my skin is still very inflamed, purging and the rosacea is flared up. So please, if you have tendency to redness or sensitivity, think twice.

I love it!
I've been using this product once in two days from the start and I haven't gotten any irritation. Thus I suspect the percentage of retinol is pretty low and it's the lactic acid that does most of the job. That said, I'm still very satisfied with it. I've started my anti-aging routine a month ago, using 5 anti-aging products. My fine lines are already reduced, my pores are minimized and my skin face is lifted. There's still a long way to go though! So far, this is my favourite anti-aging product, as I love the feeling of it on my face, its smell, its consistency, its packaging.

Really good
I have sensitive skin, but this gentle retinol doesn't irritate at all, even calms down overnight. Been using every night for a month about and happy like never!

Amazing
I was extremely sceptical about using this product because my skin is incredibly sensitive, it reacts to almost anything BUT not to this! This product doesn´t irritate my skin and does exactly what is supposed to do. The texture of my skin is visibly better, it calms down active breakouts, reduces fine lines and fades dark and old acne scars. It´s honestly magic in a bottle.
