If you apply this over your skincare routine, you notice a soft matte effect. It doesn’t pill like many other primers. Unfortunately it’s not blurring at all, so any imperfections will show through. I can imagine this would for someone with combination/normal skin. I don’t find it essential to my routine.

Nice and blurring on my skin
This primer is really soft and blurring on my skin. I have normal to combination skin with some visible pores around my nose. I am using this primer beneath Shiseido Synchro Skin Foundation and it really makes my pores less visible. It is nice to use, too. I don't put it all over my face, just in the middle, where I want it to seal in those visible pores and it really does that for me. They don't become completely invisible, but they definitely do become less visible and I am very satisfied with that.
