Aptly named after the 'Sun of January' (which refers to when the Brazilian sun hits its highest point), Sol de Janeiro is here to serve up summer feelings all year round. Steeped in cruelty-free formulas powered by the Amazon's freshest ingredients, these sunshine-scented must-haves instantly transport you to the sandy shores of Copacabana and beyond. Discover the Rio Radiance SPF 50 Body Lotion (200ml), an illuminating sunscreen that cloaks your limbs in tropical notes of creamy coconut, tuberose and amber essence.
Want your skin to glimmer in the sun's golden rays? Cue Sol de Janeiro's Rio Radiance SPF 50 Body Lotion (200ml).
Brimming with skin caring ingredients, this radiance-enhancing moisturiser and sunscreen hybrid stars brightening niacinamide, nourishing cupuaçu butter and antioxidant-rich pongamia seed to protect the skin against environmental aggressors. As this lightweight lotion sinks in, it also hydrates your skin and leaves a luminous, sun-reflecting finish while defending your skin against sun damage. If that wasn't enough, its formula features an irresistible beachy scent with accords of sweet coconut, warm sand, creamy vanilla and sensual amber essence (AKA it's a holiday in a bottle).

Great coverage and leaves skin glowing!
I love this SPF as it makes your skin look refreshed and nourished whilst also giving great coverage! It's easy to get out and doesn't drip/spill/leak which can make some sun creams messy. My only pointer is I'd love it in the original Sol de Janeiro scent rather than Rio Radiance! Maybe a potential new scent?!

A gorgeous SPF
Anything Sol De Janerio does in my eyes is amazing. The scents are long lasting and luscious. I’m quite pale when not having been in the sun for a while but tan very, very quickly and it does leave a slight residue which I’m fine with but it might not be for everyone. The mist however doesn’t so if you don’t want a very, very slight residue and your skin is exposed, go for the mist.

Feels lovely
This cream is quite thick but sunk into my skin easily, my skin felt soft and smelt amazing. Worked on a sunny day.

Smells amazing
I haven’t tried this yet but the smell alone is amazing, definitely giving me the holiday feels and I can’t wait to try it when I go away or when England decides to give us some sun

Not sure I would repurchase
Like the texture of this and the scent is pleasant but it does make me look paler than I am, so I’m not sure how those with darker skin would get on with it

Not a sun protectant according to Instructions
The product is lovely lotion however the instructions say it is not a sun protectant and shouldn’t be used as one. It’s a lovely product aesthetically but seems confusing as to what its purpose is.
