After trying countless beauty products themselves, SUMMER FRIDAYS founders Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Gores, together with a team of industry experts, dreamed up their own product – a simple (yet oh-so sublime) Jet Lag Mask that leaves skin gorgeous, whether you’ve skipped several time zones or haven’t left home. Formulated with clean, vegan ingredients, their range has expanded to offer a capsule collection of {masks}, a refreshing gel {cleanser} and a buttery {lip balm} - and it's taking the beauty world by storm. TGISF!
A powerful 3-in-1 overnight treatment, SUMMER FRIDAYS' seriously covetable Soft Reset AHA Exfoliating Solution exfoliates, brightens skin and reduces the appearance of pores. Overnight, a concentrated solution of 16% AHAs lifts dead skin and refines skin's texture—so you wake up to a softer, smoother, fresh-faced glow.
Ideal for addressing dullness, uneven skin tone, enlarged pores, congestion, dryness and even fine lines, the formula features lactic and glycolic acid, which work together to reduce cohesion between dead, dulling cells, triggering skin’s natural resurfacing process. Gently exfoliating, unclogging pores and promoting cell renewal, this luscious liquid uncovers beautifully balanced radiance while helping to visibly diminish fine lines and discolouration while keeping pores clear. A multi-functional, water soluable form of vitamin B3 - ie. Niacinamide - helps clarify and refine skin's texture and minimise the look of pores for a smoother, more even-toned appearance.
Water/Aqua/Eau, Lactic Acid, Propanediol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Glycerin, Glycolic Acid, Niacinamide, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Citrate, Phenoxyethanol, Citric Acid, Acer Saccharum (Sugar Maple) Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugarcane) Extract/Saccharum Officinarum/Extrait De Canne À Sucre, Vaccinium Myrtillus Fruit Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Extract, Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Extract, Xanthan Gum, Caprylyl Glycol, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Ascorbyl Glucoside.

Saturate a cotton pad and swipe onto clean skin over the face and neck, day and night, avoiding the eye area. Follow with your regular skin care routine.
*Soft Reset is formulated with 16% AHAs we recommend using once daily in your nighttime routine. If you have especially sensitive skin or regularly use other exfoliation products, you should slowly build up to daily use.

Ouch
I wanted to love this, but it's not the exfoliating toner that I had assumed. Firstly it has a soapy, slippy texture and when you wipe it over your face it leaves a serum like residue. The second problem is that it does sensitise your skin and it caused itching and dryness and actually made some of the blemishes on my skin more pronounced as I think it dried my skin out quite badly. I have had to stop using it, and for back to another glycolic acid toner. Proceed with caution.

Great for clogged pores.
I got this in the Cult Beauty Edit Box, and from reading the earlier reviews I was already set on it on working for me. For reference, the Ole Henriksen Glow Dark Spot Toner was awful for me. Extremely sensitising and burned a lot. From this experience, I’m cautious when it comes to using acid toners. I tried this toner on my nose and chin only (for my clogged pores) and it worked wonderfully. Didn’t burn at all and actually gave great results. The consistency of the product is more “sticky” than watery, so that’s also an added bonus. However, I tried using it on other parts of my face and found it was too irritating. I will continue using it on my nose and chin area though. Great product!

Staple part of my routine
This is a product that I never knew I needed... I got it as part of the Cult Beauty Edit and I’m so glad I did, it’s really one of those products that I didn’t know I needed until I started using it as part of my nighttime routine. My skin feels so soft and beautiful after use and I really notice the difference when I haven’t used it. I have fairly sensitive skin and it did tingle on my first couple of applications, but my skin is used to it now and I don’t need to use much to see the difference. No need to fully saturate the pad either, this might be where others are going wrong - a little goes a long way.

Love it but better for seasoned glycolic acid users
I love this toner. I use it just at nighttime and my skin definitely has cleared up (from breakouts) and just looks and feels smoother. Other reviews mention it caused an acid burn, which, I would say I have fairly sensitive skin and the first few times I used this product my skin was very red after (also gives a slight itchy sensation) but this dissipated by morning and only occurred the first few nights using it. If you haven’t used glycolic acid products before (and keep in mind this one is quite strong) I’d start out only using a very light amount on a cotton pad. Overall it does what it says!

Beware!
I got this as part of the Cult Edit box. I used it once, and it instantly made my face SO red and sore. It burned so much washing with water didn’t help. I panicked, my husband could even see the marks where I had wiped with the cotton pad. Eventually, after a few hours, it calmed down, I put Drunk Elephant Marula oil on when I went to bed. In the morning my skin was amazing, very soft and glowing - just a shame I had to burn my face off for the desired effect!! Too scared to try again, but I do miss that glow.....

Potential new favorite
I was a lil worried reading reviews that said they developed red patches after using this. I have sensitive skin but still thought would give it a go since it came as part of the skin edit set. Lil thicker in consistency than i expected, smells terrible but does make your skin smooth and glow the next morning. Havent noticed any patches as yet. Smooth and glossy skin . I might just get a 2nd skin care edit box..

Chemical burn
I don't know if it's because I used the R+R mask the day before, or if I dabbed on too much product onto the cotton pad, but my cheeks got extremely red and burning, even the day after :( I really wanted to like this product but I wouldn't recommend it for people with sensitive skin.

Not for me!
My skin is oily and isn’t usually sensitive (I use Biologique Recherche P50 regularly) but it really doesn’t like this! Makes my skin feel itchy and even putting hyaluronic acid on after burns! Tried using it numerous occasions but after waking up this morning with sensitive, flaky skin (despite putting hyaluronic acid mist, serum and Peter Thomas Roth cloud moisturiser on) I won’t be using again sadly. The nice bottle looks great on my bathroom shelf though!

Itchy!
Heard really good things about this and have had it for a couple of months, every time I reach for it I end up feeling itchy and my forehead came out in under the skin type bumps - not good! just did not work for me - worth avoiding if you're on the sensitive side although liquid exfoliants don't usually have this effect on me!
