Couldnt stop thinking about this one

This summer I was traveling to New York for a well deserved City trip where I was given a sample of the Artemis Oil. When I got back to Europe I started using this oil and fell totally in love with it. I finished my sample in about 2 weeks and couldn't stop thinking about it. Finally I got over the Price and decided to order it. I am now 2 months into my first Artemis oil and still haven't reached half of the gorgeous bottle. This product works brilliantly on my combination to oily Skin. I like to use it day and night underneath my moisturizer. I would recommend to use 3-4 Drops on your fingers and then gently press the product onto your Skin. During the day this product helps me become less oily and greasy. My Skin seems more purified, I have fewer pimples and Little bumps in my face and my complexion has a healthy glow. I think this gorgeous glass bottle will last me around 8-9 months and when I finish it I'll definitely repurchase! I'm looking Forward to trying out more Sunday Riley products!

Oily skin - no problem

I have oily skin so the idea of using an oil was very scary to say the least! However due to the great reviews I thought I'd give it a go. I use it three / four times a week as a night oil, it does exactly what it says on the tin. I normally use about 5 drops, and once it has warmed up on my face then that is plenty. So the whole bottle will go a very long way. It does smell a bit unusual, not unpleasant, and I'm finding it hard to describe! Overall, I would definitely repurchase when I finally run out.

Not greasy and very plumping

I use this in the evening after good genes and I am totally in love with them! I wake up with super smooth skin, hydrated, plumped and not at all greasy! Also in summer my skin at night produces some sweat and with this is all gone.

Great oil

Artemis is a good solid oil and one I am glad to have in my stash. There is nothing in particular to rave about, its just really good and a nice hydrating oil for those with breakout prone skin. I've had acne on and off for years and never been afraid to use oils, but I can imagine the thickness would be off-putting for someone with oily skin. I only use this at night and do actually dilute it with something light (like MV jojoba) to help massage it in. I do find it makes my hair greasy overnight so tend to just use it on nights before hair wash! Love using it over Luna, which isn't quite enough alone for winter skin. Its pricey, but worth it for the quality and I expect its going to last for ages.

Average product for the price

It did help my skin clear up a bit and helped to balanced my skin throughout the day, but the oil is on the heavier side and may not suit those with oily skin. Perhaps I will give this a try in winter or use this as an overnight oil rather than a day time oil.

Perfection in a classy bottle

Suffering with a recent bout of confused, temperamental and hormone ravaged skin, I have tried many products to combat these issues. Artemis facial oil comes in gorgeous packaging, it looks beautiful on my dressing table. This product seriously is the real deal. I think it smells wonderful, really clean and fresh to put on a clean face. Personally, I only apply the product in the evening alongside the Ceramic Slip Cleanser and Good Genes. My skin has calmed down a lot recently and I look forward to the evening and applying my little Sunday Riley face routine!

Smells weird but very effective!!

The smell. Oh the smell. Weird, woody, citrusy, lemon-sweets-from-childhood mixed with a herb garden. You'll either love it, hate it, or tolerate it - I am definitely in the latter group, purely because of how well it works. I was worried, as an oily-skinned acne-prone twentysomething that this was just going to exacerbate my problems, but due to rave reviews I thought I'd give it a go. My skin is definitely calmer, less red, and though I still get the odd spot they are fewer and further between. I've only been using it for about a month, every second night (3 drops is more than enough for your face-that wee bottle will last ages) but having changed nothing else in my skincare routine I am assured this works. It's a viscous, slightly sticky oil and takes a while to absorb, but in the morning leaves skin very soothed, smooth and comfortable. Will purchase again.

Hormonal acne helper

I have been suffering with adult hormonal acne for the last year. A couple of months ago I started using Emma hardie Moringa balm cleanser which helped. I have also been using Dr Dennis gross extra strength peel pads on and off since October. Recently (possibly aggravated by overuse of Dr Gross peel pads) I broke out really severely - as well as my usual cysts on cheeks, jaw and neck I also had lots of pimples on forehead and eyebrows and well pretty much everywhere. The cysts on my neck and cheek were really big, angry and painful. Artemis arrived, and even though initially I wasn't sure about the feel of oil on my skin, I liked the results. Over the last week my skin has really calmed down. All forehead pimples gone as well as big angry cysts ( I still have marks of where they were but they are flat). Spots and bumps are still popping up but not angry and seem to dry up or disapear fairly quickly. I also have a glow and have felt much more confident not wearing make up in order to let skin breathe which has also helped. I must add for arguments sake I had 4 acupuncture sessions to help clear skin a week before I used oil so results could be combined with that, I just got ceramic slip cleanser hoping that will turbo boost me into clear skin! In a nutshell this definitely helped my hormonal acne and I think due to helping get rid of dehydration my skin not acting up as much. Glowing and considerably clearer would buy again despite massive price tag.

Best face oil

Normally, I don't like using face oil for night but this one sinks into the skin beautifully and I wake up with a smooth skin.

Love the results

I wasn't 100% about this product when I first started using it as it didn't feel like it was doing anything for the first week. I like the citrus-y, woody smell and the lightweight feel, which sinks in quickly but my skin felt a bit all over the place. After a week my skin started balancing, less oil around the grooves of my nose, more on my cheeks which get dry and my make up started sitting better. This has been a slow improvement but after a month I am now totally hooked... I am getting fewer blemishes on my chin and it has even helped my hyper pigmentation spot in the middle of my cheek that has been getting darker as I hit 40s. I guess natural products take longer to work, thank god I persevered because this one is brilliant.
