Created especially for those with balanced, oily and even sensitive skin , this whipped cream offers protection against UV rays while blurring the look of pores, fine lines and minimising shine. Delivering a mattifying finish with a pinky tint (suitable for those on the fairer side), this formula provides a smooth, grippy canvas for your foundation or complexion staples to sit atop and stay put. Plus, it's loaded with antioxidant-rich actives such as bamboo extract and clover extract, to help defend against free radical and blue light damage. Who can resist a handy 2-in-1?
Active Ingredients: Titanium Dioxide 1.33% and Zinc Oxide 17.42%. LOVE this sunscreen
I'm completely new to mineral sunscreens and finally have no excuse not to wear a high SPF on my face every single day. I find normal sun cream sits badly under make up and feels like a sticky layer but this feels like a gorgeous matte primer and sits so well under make up. My skin is quite dry and I found this moisturising and a lovely base for make up. I'm very fair and freckled but the slight tint wasn't noticeable at all. Also looks lovely on its own without make up, just gives a nice matte finish. Treated myself to this with gift vouchers but would definitely buy again.

Awful texture
TLDR: Don't buy this if you don't like the powdery finish of silicone-based products. Think the texture of Smashbox's original photofinish primer X 100. It is true that it didn't leave a white cast. I don't usually leave reviews, but for this one I had to. I am pregnant and was looking for a new mineral sunscreen that leaves no white cast to replace my holy grail Heliocare gel based oil free sunscreen. I typically have combination/oily skin, which has gotten much worse in pregnancy. I thought the powdery finish of this sunscreen would be perfect to combat that. Sadly, I just could not get past the texture. It is SO thick and difficult to rub in. You have to put on so much product to get the desired SPF coverage, and with that texture, it feels like rubbing my face in plaster. Even with my oily skin, this formula felt super drying and cakey. I am sure others will love it, but if you prefer more cream-based sunscreen with a moisturizer-like feel, don't go for this.

Not for darker skin tones
This sunscreen is not 'unseen' if you are darker than the colour of the product. Phototypes 5&6 steer clear. As the description suggested, I assumed (wrongly) that it would rub in a become transparent but I ended up looking ghostly and ashen in colour. The sunscreen does have a nice lightweight feel on the skin but looks awful. I've used mineral sunscreens before and both SOS SPF and beaskincare solar defence are GENUINELY invisible with no white-casting, so it is possible.
