A featherweight daily defence, Thank You Farmer’s Sun Project Light Sun Essence SPF 50+ infuses skin with cooling aloe extract (to reduce redness and calm irritation), while sacha inchi oil and lotus flower water combine to soften visibility of lines and bolster skin’s resilience – improving suppleness and ‘stretch’ while deflecting the damaging effects of UV rays. Readily absorbed and completely non-greasy, this hydrates without smothering skin, controlling oil to maintain a smooth, semi-matte finish.

After basic skincare, take a proper amount of the product, then spread evenly on the area which will be exposed to the sun. Use before exposure to the sun. Apply again to maintain protection, especially after sweating, swimming or wiping with a towel.
Warnings: Do not use on damaged or irritated skin, skin with wound, eczema and dermatitis. Do not use in case of allergy to any of the ingredients. For external use only. Discontinue use if signs of irritation or red spot, swelling, itching, stimulus have occurred and consult with dermatologist. Discontinue use if side effects as above have occurred on the area of application after exposure to direct sunlight. Avoid direct contact with eyes. Even when using sunscreen product, prolonged exposure to the sun is not recommended. Keep babies and children out of direct sunlight. Excessive exposure to the sun is a serious threat to health. Excellent but packaging needs to change
This is a great sunscreen and I'm about to order my second (rather small) tube. But the packaging is poor - the top of the tube is too narrow to balance so you can't stand it on its end, meaning its hard to get all the sunscreen out without cutting the tube open. I'm amazed this passed anyone's package testing, to be honest. Work to do here, and it lets a great product down.

No breakout and no burns!
Used this on a recent holiday in Spain as my facial sunscreen and it provided as good coverage as my other Asian facial sunscreen. Bit pricey comparatively, but it feels luxe going on and blends to invisibility instantly. Even my husband loves it!

This was my second attempt at finding a non-tinted mineral sunscreen and based on the reviews it looked quite promising. I have been using it in Scotland over the past few weeks where even on a clear day the temp doesn't tend to go above 25c (so nowhere near as hot as Korea). Sadly, I haven't been able to rely on it as an everyday sun protection product, I've been aware my skin was burning after an hour or so outside. I have fair skin and don't sunbathe, so when I say I was outside I mean nipping to the shops or doing a bit of gardening. I've tried applying more product but it really doesn't make a difference. On a couple of occasions, I have put a tinted foundation with spf30 (another brand) over the top, just in areas where I wanted a bit of concealer or highlighting. On those days I noticed my skin had caught the sun where only the Thank You Farmer was applied, yet it was fine where the foundation had been lightly applied.

Love this but packaging broke
I have oily skin prone to breakouts but this spf has been a godsend- not broke me out or clogged my pores.. however the nozzle on the packaging broke and had to decant the product into a different container which was annoying! Will repurchase but better packaging needed

I bought this after a friend recommended it and I’m so happy I did. Most other SPF products clog my pores but this is super light!

This is the best sunscreen I have come across in decades!
It is true to word - light essence. It is very lightweight and It is not greasy at all. I find it suitable for all skin types. I have oily skin and it works perfectly for me - it hasn’t made my face or skin more oily. This is also the first sunscreen I have come across that doesn’t leave a white cast! It’s so comfortable to wear! I have restocked on it over and over and recommended to friends and family. You will definitely love this once you use it. It’s a fantastic product.

Makes my skin feel itchy
I really liked this sunscreen (I bought this and the 30spf version) as it’s a mineral sunscreen that doesn’t leave a white cast and feel heavy on the skin. It’s light weight and has a bit of matte finish but without being drying. The sad thing is that I think the fragrance is making my skin feel itchy :( I really wish there was no fragrance in this as it would have been the sunscreen for me! For reference I have sensitive and acne prone skin.

An oily skin’s best friend.
To set the scene, I have *super* oily skin. Not just oily, the type of oily skin that makeup will just slide off after an hour, that makes lipstick bleed and eyeliner migrate down the face. Because of this I’ve avoided SPF like the plague, remembering my teenage days of heavy, sticky feeling suncream on my face and not wanting to recreate it. That’s why this product is such a game changer for me, I now wear SPF daily! There’s no heavy, tacky residue, makeup sits comfortably on top of this formula and there’s no white cast on my medium skin tone. If this sounds like your skin and you’re avoiding SPF because of past experiences- please try this one! You won’t regret it.

I was looking for a new SPF which was not a moisturiser and could be worn on its own separate to my makeup, and didn't make my skin breakout. This is a lovely light fluid feels nice on, great under make up, but after using for a few weeks continuously, I was getting spots, and could not attribute them to anything other than this product. So its going in the bin, I'm going to return to Clinique City Block.
