Skin care doesn't have to be confusing. The INKEY List is on a mission to debunk beauty jargon and put the power of knowledge in your hands. Its straight-talking range includes all the industry's best-loved heroes (from retinol to hyaluronic acid) in no-frills formulations that deliver incredible results. If smoother-looking skin is on your wishlist then so should the Bakuchiol Moisturiser (30ml), a gentle yet potent alternative to retinol for beginners and long-standing fans.
Keen to try retinol but want to ease yourself into it? Add the Bakuchiol Moisturiser (30ml) to your routine and take an ultra-gentle approach to addressing fine lines and wrinkles.
Powered by a glow-enhancing blend of nourishing squalane, barrier-protecting sacha inchi oil, omegas 3, 6 and 9 and of course, the hero ingredient, bakuchiol, this hydrating formula ensures skin stays supple and plump. What's so great about bakuchiol, you ask? For starters, it's a plant-based alternative to retinol, which makes it extra kind to even the most sensitive of skin types. Most of all, it works to refine texture and boost elasticity over time, therefore making this multitasking moisturiser the ultimate staple you can rely on.
Aqua (Water/ Eau), Squalane, Glycerin, Propanediol, Plukenetia Volubilis Seed Oil (Sacha Inchi oil), Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Bakuchiol, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Caproyl Prolinate, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Carbomer, Sodium Hydroxide, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Polysorbate 60, Phytic Acid, Glyceryl Polyacrylate, Sorbitan Isostearate, Tocopherol.

This is really good
I'm just gonna start with the few tiny little problems i have with this product. Firstly, the size of it is really quite small and I wasn’t expecting that. It’s about the size of the palm of your hand if that’s any help, if not a bit smaller and this was a problem for me because I didn’t realise (yet again) just how little you need to use. You need the smallest amount of this product, a pea size, as they recommend, but as it is such a lightweight moisturiser i just assumed you’d need a lot. So I guess that’s actually a bonus and just a silly mistake of mine. This product has a slight smell to it - not because of fragrance just because of the ingredients - but it smells like raw beans (that is the only way i can think to describe it). You can definitely tell it’s plant-based from the smell, and it’s not exactly unpleasant it just took me by surprise.

Best anti-aging moisturizer EVER!
I LOVE this moisturizer! I've been really lucky with my skin in terms of signs of aging (I'm late 30s; most people are surprised when I tell them this), but was starting to notice signs of stress and fine lines after years of using the same heavily-frangranced generic product. I tried this based on a Youtuber recommendation, because I'm quite lazy where my skincare routine is concerned and don't like to use hundreds of serums and treatments. I also have sensitive skin, and thus the concept of retinols scares me a bit. Therefore, as soon as I heard about a gentle, natural alternative I had to try it. Honestly, just swapping this with my previous choice of moisturizer has smoothed out the surface of my skin, and made its tone more even. Yes, the product does have a distinctive Play Dough-y smell coming out of the tube, but it doesn't linger once it's been absorbed into the skin. And such good value too! Highly recommended.

Loved this product!
This product is a lovely moisturiser, it sinks in to my skin in an instant and leaves it glowing all day. I use very little as it is quite runny and goes far, this bottle has lasted me a couple of months using once daily. The product smells somewhat minty to me, nothing offensive at all - I quite like it! I can see people's points about the packaging, a pump would be nice, but I've never given it much thought. Buying another right now!

Moisturiser
This product is perfect as a moisturiser for those who don’t usually get on with heavy creams. It’s light weight and works well alongside my rosehip oil and works well under my SPF. My skin often breaks out when using retinol so this is a good alternative. As with any product you need to be using for a long time to see significant results but I can say after one tube my skin is looking the best it has in a longtime. Skin care “experts” have said that possibly to see the same benefits as retinol you must use bakuchiol twice a day. This is something to bare in mind when purchasing. This product is light enough to wear throughout the day however with so much use I would love the Inkey list to sell a larger bottle. Definitely worth purchasing

Nice
Bakuchiol isn't like retinol, but as a lightweight moisturizer (for an awesome price), it was pretty nice. If you're looking for a product that may have some benefits and definitely won't harm your skin - Go for It! But if you have serious skin damage (Scars, Pigmentation, etc.), just use Retinoids (Safely!).

Loved it
I loved this product, really light and no smell. I didn't use enough of it (only one 30 ml bottle) to see any effect other than the nice experience of putting it on, but overall my opinion is a 5/5. I used it as an evening moisturiser though, for which it is not enough for dry skin, so I mixed it with marula oil, that worked.

NOT FOR ME
Great price but I agree with a couple of the other ladies, consistency just didn’t seem right for a retinol. This didn’t last very long, as not only did the tube seem half empty but a pea size would never have done! Sorry, won’t be repurchasing
