THE INKEY LISTs aim is simple: break through beauty jargon to deliver a straightforward take on skin cares most-wanted ingredients (at astoundingly reasonable, give-it-a-go prices). Starring glycolic acid derived from sugar cane, this gently exfoliating toner minimises the appearance of pores and brightens skin by removing dead, dulling skin cells from the surface, also encouraging cell turnover. Use this before serums and moisturiser and your complexion will be left smoother, brighter and more even.
Starring a natural AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid), THE INKEY LISTs Glycolic Acid Toner isenriched with 10% glycolic acid derived from sugar cane. A gentle exfoliant, this works to unglue the dead skin cells on your complexions surface (which can make your skin appear dull and pores appear larger) to minimise the appearance of pores, smooth away uneven texture, minimise acne scarring and leave a bright, radiant skin finish. The glycolic acid is accompanied by 5% witch hazel, which helps to minimise excess oil and so counteract blemishes. Simply apply this with a cotton pad (without rinsing) then follow with your chosen serums and moisturiser for a supercharged skin regime addition.

I have oily skin breakout prone and bought this to help keep breakouts at bay and fade hyperpigmentation left. When this arrived at my house the bootle was wet. Like others said in their reviews this bottle is not good and leaks a lot (happened again when traveling). It's not to harsh for me, but I'm not new to AHA. If it's your first time using AHA I wouldn't start with this product but with a 5% or so (since this is 8% glycolic acid). The bottle is very small but if you use this everyday you are probably over exfoliating so every other day works wonders and it makes it last longer. Overall great product! It does the job.

Dream product
This glycolic acid has helped my skin soooo much. I recently begun having hormonal breakouts and rough skin on my jawline and chin area. Everything I have tried didn't touch it. This product has got rid of the rough skin and the slightest sign of the spot, pop some of this on and any inflammation is gone by the next morning. My skin tone has also evened out too. Couldn't recommend this enough! Love it

Poor packaging - leaks
I bought this to try instead of The Ordinary’s. The packaging is rubbish and it leaks constantly. I didn’t notice any difference between this and The Ordinary, so will go back to The Ordinary purely because it doesn’t leak (and I feel like I get more product for my £)

Too harsh
My skin is very used to acids and I have been using them for years but I found this product far too harsh for my skin and my skin is left stinging for quite some time afterwards. I have used it a few times now but my skin is left red and uncomfortable, so I have had to discontinue use.

Great sub for the ordinary for resilient skin
Since The Ordinary's glycolic toner has been out of stock for months, I've been on the hunt for another glycolic toner that matches the strength of The Ordinary's toner. This is slightly stronger and doesn't contain the hydrating ingredients of The Ordinary's toner, but my skin has been able to cope with this and the product has done a fantastic job at dealing with my breakouts and acne scars. I can imagine though that this will be too irritating for drier or sensitive skin types.

Great for body
As a disclaimer, I don't use this on my face (glycolic acid is a bit harsh for me). But it works GREAT on my body - it's done an amazing job getting rid of the bumps on my arms and keeping my body skin smooth. This is also an extremely effective deodorant (really!). A little bit on a cotton pad applied twice daily completely gets rid of the BO smell. Love it
