THE INKEY LISTs aim is simple: break through beauty jargon to deliver a straightforward take on skin cares most-wanted ingredients (at astoundingly reasonable, give-it-a-go prices). Harnessing naturally sourced lactic acid derived from milk and fruit sugars, this gently exfoliating serum helps to loosen and remove dead skin cells from your skins surface, resulting in increased clarity and a brighter, more even tone (with wrinkles minimised too!)
Starring a natural AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid), THE INKEY LISTs Lactic Acid Serum is enriched with 10% lactic acid thats derived from milk and fruit sugars. Applying anything with the word acid to your face can sound scary but heres why its good Acting as a mild exfoliant, this serum helps to dissolve the bonds binding dead, dulling skin cells to your complexions surface, gently loosening and removing them to reveal the brighter, clearer, more even radiance beneath. Gentler than other AHAs, lactic acid has moisturising properties to keep skin smooth and soft plus, its enhanced with 1% hyaluronic acid (this is a low molecular weight to allow it to penetrate skin and provide hydration below the surface). Try this to achieve brighter, more even skin with the appearance of wrinkles reduced.

Lovely exfoliator
Brilliant product, awful packaging, very difficult to dispense the right amount. Read the instructions about how to use with other products to have a good list of routines too. Important not to use with certain other products/acids that will cause irritation.

Makes your skin super soft
I used this in the evening twice a week and it makes my skin super soft. I had some texture and dry patches on my cheeks, and they have disappeared. Also very affordable. Will continue to use this!

Must have for sensitive skin
My skin is dry and very sensitive, I had just got my eczma under control. The first time using this it stung a little. But after a week that went away. When I use this my skin feels softer in the morning, products used are absorbed better. I would definitely recommend to those whose skin is too sensitive for glycolic acid.

Used this once, immediately made my boyfriend feel my face
I have dry, eczema-prone skin. I've tried acid exfoliator before and noticed no difference in my skin texture, but this really worked! My skin is pretty smooth anyway because I moisturise as though civilisation depends on it, but this left my face feeling smooth as the proverbial baby's butt. Didn't irritate my eczema at all. Highly recommended.

Summertime acid
In the winter I like to use 'all the acids' to kick-start my complexion; emerging like a glowing butterfly (stay with me) from the dull crystalis that forms as my cell turnover slows down in the months of darkness :( In the Summer I like to hold off on the full alphabet of acids in order to allow my skin a break and the ability to maintain some of the protection afforded by the stratum corneum (dead skin buildup). I do, however, find an increasing need to at least use a Lactic Acid as I get older, to keep my skin glowing and in good shape in this time of multi-acid fallowness. This one from Inkey is lovely as a daily serum, a good acid option for those with sensitised skin types too and perfect for this kind of holding pattern maintenance. Fantastic price too!
