Skin care doesn't have to be confusing. The INKEY List is on a mission to debunk beauty jargon and put the power of knowledge in your hands. Its straight-talking range includes all the industry's best-loved heroes (from retinol to hyaluronic acid) in no-frills formulations that deliver incredible results. An overnight serum, the Mandelic Acid Treatment (15ml) works hard to lessen the look of pigmentation and even skin texture and tone.
If you're dealing with textured skin and stubborn pigmentation, it's time to add the Mandelic Acid Treatment (15ml) to your skin care routine.
Ultra lightweight and gentle, this treatment chemically exfoliates your skin to remove dead cells and reveal a brighter complexion. Infused with 10% mandelic acid (an AHA derived from bitter almonds with a large molecule size, making it suitable for sensitive skin), it reduces the appearance of dark spots while delivering a smooth, more even texture. Blended with 0.1% retinol to lessen the look of fine lines and wrinkles and to keep your skin's oil levels balanced, there's no doubt that this treatment will become a permanent fixture in your regimen...

Decent
A little sticky on application but works well. A bit tough to layer moisturisers on too so wait for it to dry and get tacky before applying other products

Recommend!
I have very sensitive skin that hates glycolic acid. I found this to be much more gentle whilst also exfoliating my skin as needed. Not to mention the amazing price point. What’s not to love!

Small But Mighty
Mandelic acid is a go-to in my routine, it's gentle but effective, and often has little to no irritation on the skin. Due to its larger molecular size and being fat-soluble, it's the perfect choice for oily skin types in particular and often sensitive too (just bear in mind this is combined with retinol here). This penetrates the skin more slowly than a glycolic, for example, meaning there's far less irritation to the skin too. This new launch from The Inkey List was always going to be a winner for me as it combines mandelic acid and retinol together, leaving you with smooth, radiant and more even skin over time. Just on my first use of this, I woke to baby-fresh skin in the morning! With more consistent use in my evening routine, this has really started to help even out some more stubborn pigmentation and really gives me that glass-skin look! I just wish it came in a bigger size!
