It's powered by the natural humectant properties of PHAs which supports the skin's ability to maintain moisture. I think this is a lovely acid, especially for the price. Not at all irritating on my sensitive skin. But I do have other acids I use more often, as I think they are more effective. But this is a good place to start if you have a tight budget or very sensitive skin and want to trial and acid.

I am not sure exactly what this product does but I notice the difference. It is the 1st product I use once I do proper at home facials or when my skin is acting up or I need to cleanse the skin a bit more. It does not cause any irritation for me.

I absolutely LOVE this Inky List PHA Toner. Received a full size in a cult beauty goodie bag but I have since repurchased also. I am so grateful to have been given the freebie to try as it is not something I would have bought otherwise but it have been a revelation for my skin. I am dry/dehydrated at times. Have particular patches around my chin that can flake now as I'm getting older. In addition I seem to be quite sensitive to exfoliating toners/products (brilliant!) They can leave my dry skin red and enslaved. However this gentle, gentle product I can use morning and night if required. It never straps but leave my skin flake free and smooth of texture. I pair with the Fulvic acid cleanser from the same brand & they are perfect together. Gently but effective. I will repurchase this forever.

Very gentle exfoliation
I have combination skin so I use a BHA on my t zone. However I have dry, rosacea prone cheeks that can be very sensitised by harsh exfoliants or productsm - this PHA is perfect as it still smooths out my cheeks without causing irritation or upsetting the area. Would highly recommend.
