Skin care doesn't have to be confusing. The INKEY List is on a mission to debunk beauty jargon and put the power of knowledge in your hands. Its straight-talking range includes all the industry's best-loved heroes (from retinol to hyaluronic acid) in no-frills formulations that deliver incredible results... And the Polyglutamic Acid Serum (30ml) is a case in point, being an ultra-hydrating formula that quickly absorbs into skin to grant a soft and supple complexion.
Once you're done trying to pronounce it, The INKEY List's Polyglutamic Acid Serum (30ml) is the dryness-banishing formula enveloping complexions in much-needed moisture.
If your skin leans on the dry side, chances are you've tried hyaluronic acid... but what if we told you that there's an ingredient that can hold four times as much moisture? Enter polyglutamic acid, a hydration powerhouse that cleverly forms a film on the skin's surface to prevent water loss. With a wealth of benefits to its name, polyglutamic acid plumps the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, brightens lacklustre complexions and evens skin tone and texture. Starring 3% of this potent ingredient, simply glide the formula across your skin to reveal an oh-so hydrated complexion (you can even combine it with the Hyaluronic Acid Serum (sold separately) for a mega dose of moisturising goodness.

Tacky texture
I'm not sure if it's due to the high amount of silicones in this but the serum felt almost rubbery and didn't seem to let any moisturiser put on top properly absorb. Other people may actually find this a bonus as silicones are known to be great primers but it was a bit too much for me and I didn't like the feeling of it just sitting on my skin. It also seemed to make my skin look a bit too shiny and highlight larger pores. On the plus side it didn't irritate my very sensitive eczema-prone skin so I know there's no harmful ingredients in there, it just doesn't really do anything for me.

Amazing
Was a bit sceptical about this at first as it is silicone-based which is normally targeted for oily skin types for control and I have dry sensitive skin, but once I used this I noticed a massive difference, my skin was so plump and smooth, paired with the inkey list hyaluronic acid serum is just a match made in heaven. this would also be great as a primer before make up. the smell of this is quite chemically but I can get over a smell if the product is good, and it doesn't irritate my extremely sensitive eczema skin. definitely recommend.

Loving it
My skin looks so much better now, and it has only been a month. Highly recommend it. The delivery of the product, however, leaves quite a lot to be desired.

Увлажнение на весь день - "Moisturizing all day"
" This is my first time using polyglutamic acid, before that I always chose moisturizers that contain hyaluric acid, but over time I began to notice that I lack hydration. And my dry, thin, sensitive skin instantly reacts to lack of moisture with peeling and redness, and this tool was a discovery for me. I only use it in the morning under makeup, add it to my moisturizer or foundation. Surprisingly, this product does not conflict with my other skincare products and feels very comfortable all day long."

Completely Obsessed
I spend most of my life finding ways to make my skin less dehydrated and tight, I am already OBSESSED with the Hyaluronic Acid Serum from Inkey, and was so excited to add this into my routine. This is not a replacement for a hydrating serum, but more an addition to really seal and lock moisture into your skin. For anyone that likes layering in their routine, this is for you, put in between your serum and moisturiser this really gives you an extra dose of moisture and locks all the goodness into your skin. Top tip - I was so excited to try this mixed in with my foundation as I'd heard so many do, and I cannot express how well my foundation sat all day. No lifting, separating or even transferring off onto my mask. This really is such a great and versatile product for any routine, particularly those who need some extra hydration.

Honestly life changing...
Really don't like exaggerating but boy, does this product change my skin to baby-bum softness level. I have been on so many different rotations of moisturizer (yes, I do use this as moisturizer) - non ever came close to this.

Hated at first, now I can't live without!
As a frequent Hyaluronic Acid user, I had at first tried this in combination with it, placing the polyglutamic acid at quite the beginning or middle of my routine treating it as a thicker moisturizing serum (depending on the serums of choice on the day), and I honestly hated it! That's until one day, I tried the polyglutamic as the last step in combination with rosehip oil, treating the combo as a moisturizer and seal, and found the skin the next morning so so incredible bouncy and without the congested feeling, I honestly am back for a second bottle. The key is to ensure that you have put the moisture back into your skin in the steps previous to applying this, before sealing it all in with the Polyglutamic acid - because this doesn't provide the bounciness by itself. Current routine: Resurfacing Toner AHAs/BHAs/both - Hydrating Essence/Milk - Serum of choice - Polyglutamic Acid - Rosehip Oil (the minimum amount used as a seal).

A bit disappointed
Order this after seeing the reviews but hasn’t met my expectations. Having dry sensitive skin, it doesn’t sit well on my skin. On the positive side it never broke me out or create dry patches,...I just need to find another way to use this product for it to work well for me

Great final step or primer
I mix this with NIOD photography fluid opacity serum as the last step in my routine and it leaves my skin looking smooth and glowy, and definitely helps to lock in moisture. It does have silicones in it, but for me, that aids its performance as a primer before I put my foundation or tinkered moisturiser on top. I can not recommend The Inkey List products enough, absolutely brilliant!
