The price is great value, but I don’t feel it cleanses as deep as other scalp products I’ve used. I’ve usually left it on for 10-30 mins and when I rinse, the hair nearer at the root feels very clean, but my scalp still feels a bit congested so maybe I need a scalp scrubber to make it work for me more. It’s a good budget option to try out.

Has to be used with a hydrating scalp product
Cannot use this on its own as it makes my dry scalp worse! Felt hydrating when applying but after washing my hair, my scalp was still dry and itchy. The flakes were even more visible! So I combined with a few different products and found it works best when used with hydrating products for dry scalp.

One of the best scalp exfoliants to exist
I've always struggled with oily roots for as long as I could remember. I would overdo it with dry shampoo a lot to get away with just an extra two days before I REALLY had to wash my hair. My hair had to be washed 5 days apart at the most. Since using this product, the oiliness in my roots has significantly gone down and my hair feels cleaner and has a tad more volume to it. I can go four or five days without washing my hair, then use dry shampoo (just a quick spritz though on my parting though!) for just a small pick me up. This will be part of my haircare routine forever now!
