Use in the AM, apply liberally to face and neck as your last step after moisturizer. If a white residue is visible, this should usually absorb into the skin, allow 2-3 minutes for absorption before applying make-up. Use 15 minutes prior to sun exposure. Reapply frequently particularly if perspiring, swimming or towelling.

Pilling so badly!
I have quite pale (ginger freckly) skin so I haven't had any issues with the colour or tint. It is the consistency that I find awful. The product piles up the more you rub it in and I have not found it possible to wear under make-up. I am just going to stick to a normal moisturizer with SPF in as I live in London so should be ok. I have never managed to find a sun cream that is not oily or gives me spots.

LOVE IT
A winner to me! I think it has no smell what so ever, it blends well to my skin and lives it glowy and fresh and smooth almost like a primer. Kind to my skin didn't give that oily feeling most sunscreens give, and that nice look stays fresh for hours. It's my second time ordering, this time I bought two and one for my sister.

This product breaks me out so badly. Also, the smell is weird.

Very similar to these other reviews... the colour.
The colour that this sunscreen has really took me by surprise. It seems to work really well as a sunscreen, but the experience of using it is, well, odd. I was lucky enough that the tint matched my skin tone quite well, and gave it a kind of golden glow (which in a UK winter is hard to find), but my first thought when using it was ‘but what about everyone else?’ because it would obviously only match a limited amount of skin tones. Also, as previously mentioned again, it’s very strange to apply. It goes streaky very easily and can form clumps of colour if you’re not careful, or in the right lighting to be able to see. It also clings to dry skin, similar to if you’ve ever used a fake tan where they recommend you put lotion on your elbows, knees and dry spots before applying. This product is very similar to that in the sense that it absorbs like crazy into dry patches on your face, so perhaps as a sunscreen in itself it’s "okay", and the price point is another amazing factor considering it’s a mineral sunscreen, but not much else can be praised I’m afraid.

Really wanted to like this...
I really wanted to like this. an affordable SPF that is reef safe? I was super excited considering most reef safe SPF are $25+. but this unfortunately sucks. you have a few seconds to apply this before it starts pilling. it also just sits on ur face ALL day and is easily transferable onto anything that slightly touches your face. the tint is fine for me because my undertone is pretty golden so I never noticed any oxidation. I should have just spent $40 on super goop lol

Tinted and Streaky
As other reviewers have pointed out, this product is TINTED, which is not mentioned anywhere in the description. But even aside from that, I was not impressed with this product. I use after moisturiser, it goes on streaky and sits on the surface of my skin, I really have to cake it on to be sure that I have full coverage, hardly ideal for an SPF. It also doesn't blend well under make-up. I will not be repurchasing.

Hard to blend
I have a light complexion, so I had no problems with the tint. However, sunscreen is difficult to blend. You have to spend a few minutes on it for it to look good. Otherwise, worked perfectly and didn't irritate my skin. Worth it for the price.

It's okay but the colour
I wanted to love this product, I really did. As a lifelong goth and heliophobe, and someone who cares about our oceans, a reef-safe sunscreen at this price point was very exciting to me. The trouble is it looks brick-red against my porcelain skin, and although it blended in all right, it has the potential to oxidise to orangy hues. That isn't my look at all! In terms of how it feels on the skin, it has a weird, slightly sandy texture that resulted in me constantly touching my face while wearing it, thus defeating the object of having it on. That said, it does feel nicer on than heavy, greasy drugstore sunscreen, and would probably feel all right on someone who was used to wearing full coverage foundation regularly.

Good at first
Really enjoyed this when I first got it. It leaves a nice matte finish with no white cast as it's tinted. But after a while, the product separated which didn't affect its application too much except it started to pill slightly. I thought it had reached its 6-month expiry but I checked my order date and it had been just over 2 months since I bought it! Will not be repurchasing as it only really works best during the first 2 months of opening.

Trash prodcuct
Has a tint to it that oxidises and goes bright orange, no good if you're pale. This isn't really listed anywhere in the product description so I didn't realise it was tinted. It goes on completely uneven and streaky, starts drying thick and muddy before you have a chance to blend it out. It made me look like I got a bad fake tan. Don't recommend lol.
