Trash prodcuct

Has a tint to it that oxidises and goes bright orange, no good if you're pale. This isn't really listed anywhere in the product description so I didn't realise it was tinted. It goes on completely uneven and streaky, starts drying thick and muddy before you have a chance to blend it out. It made me look like I got a bad fake tan. Don't recommend lol.

It pills

I liked the fact that the golden tint made my fair, reddish prone skin more even, but it pills when you layer it! It feels kind of like a mousse going on, and dries to a really nice, satin look (not too matte, but definitely not too shiny either). Won't buy again, because of the pilling and I prefer spf 50.

Perfect if tint didn’t oxidise

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

I love this when I first put it on my face - no white cast, semi-matte finish but still a nice glow and blends to suit my skin tone. However, the tint oxidises horribly on my face as the day goes on, and I’m like a satsuma by 5pm. I would repurchase to wear on days I’m working at home but wouldn’t dare to wear this to go into the office.

Great!

I really liked this product! The tint it has is just right for me (im medium-light) and it doesn't leave a white cast. I went on the beach 4 days straight wearing it and I didn't get sunburnt or any tanning at all (that's a plus in my books, I usually look like a tomato after the beach). All in all, I would definitely repurchase, it's a great product.

Not so good

It has a tint and it not mentioned anywhere in the product..it is bit heavy on face and it may clog the pores too. I'm not going to buy this product again. Please mention the tint thing on the product so that people will buy accordingly

Rather meh

I had no clue it had a tint before I bought it and I don't really mind it because it's only slightly darker than my skin but (1) there's no indication on the package that it's tinted, which I find odd, and (2) it did stain my face mask even 3-4 hours after I applied it. It sometimes does flake a bit, like dead skin is coming off your face if you rub or scratch it and the first few times I used it I felt a tingling sensation, which I still don't understand to this day because I had other products underneath it. The smell is also not the most pleasant (it smells like wheat to me) but I understand that it's normal for fragrance-free products to have a certain smell since there's nothing in their composition to cancel out the smell of the chemical ingredients. It sometimes makes my skin feel tight even if I apply it after my thick moisturiser (and I have combination skin, so that doesn't normally happen). All in all, although it doesn't leave a white cast, it's not incredibly pleasant to use.

Sometimes it pills. I have to wait for my moisturizer to be fully absorbed

Just ok

ThisSPF is not that great but it is ok. It has tint in it and it also gives a healthy looking glow to my face for few minutes. I have a super oily T Zone and sometimes I feel like it is clogging my pores. Needs double cleansing to remove it properly.

Tint too dark for my Edward Cullen skin

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

So I bought this SPF as it's one of the cheapest around with such a good ingredients list. I saw the reviews and was super excited to try. However, it arrived, and I squeezed it out of the tube, and I was met with a sudden fear. As someone who can only be described as Edward Cullen levels of pale, the tint is just a bit too dark for my foundation shade 001 skin. I also find that the product doesn't apply very well and peels a lot, and I find that the tint comes up streaky and the product gathers in the corners of my face. I also find this SPF has a bit of a 'heavy' feel, which to someone who isn't used to wearing foundation or anything tinted I find a bit off putting. Overall, I do think this is a good SPF and I'm glad that everyone else seems to love it and it's absolutely great Inkey List have tried to work against the white cast which is obviously so important for those with darker skin tones, but for my pale faced sisters out there: this one probably isn't for you.

Good SPF

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

The previous SPFs I used were terrible, they flacked on my skin during application, and left a white cast, so this one was a big improvement. It doesn't flake, the application is smooth, and it feels comfortable on the skin. A bit hard to take off without an oil-based cleanser. It has a smell that I really didn't like, but it fades after a while. I won't repurchase simply because I want to try other products, but I might return to it.
