Love!!

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I started using this product after learning the necessity of suncream. I use this everyday and I LOVE the finish. No white streaks or greasy left overs. I must note I am white and I am aware that those with darker skin tones will have a different opinion (the suncream is the same colour as my skin). But for me, the product works very well and is a staple in my routine.

I like this spf as it has a nice consistency and doesnt leave your face feeling wet, it dries quickly!

Difficult consistency to work with

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

I like that this is a mineral SPF but the consistency isn’t for me. It’s quite thick making difficult to apply and blend, and I could really feel it sitting on my skin. I also didn’t find that makeup sat well on top of it and noticed a lot of pilling. Not one that I will be repurchasing unfortunately.

Thick but good

I have found this to be a good SPF. It blends well with my other skincare but it is quite heavy.

For a pale & chalky Queen Elizabeth The First Look

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

Thick consistency, doesn’t sink into the skin, matt finish, looks like a clay face mask.  After application I have to leave it 5 mins, wash my hands then rub in again and I can still see a white cast .  Will not work under make up as mixes in with the products.  If you’ve ever baked, creamed together butter and sugar you get a pale mix….it’s like that and actually lightens the shades of the products. Given the cluster of negative reviews The Inkey List should consider a new formulation.

Good for sensitive skin but a bit sticky

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

Doesn’t itch my sensitive skin but if it gets into my eyes it does burn. It’s pretty good for a mineral sunscreen but still too sticky for me

Good UV protection but doesn't wear well under make-up...

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

As an SPF it performs well- it clear blocks UV rays as I noticed hyperpigmentation on my face become less noticeable. BUT the consistency is strange, it doesn't sit well on top of other skin care/prep OR foundation. It clings to dry spots and is not moisturising. It feels like it forms a tacky layer over the skin that feels sort of 'clay-like' and it mattifies your skin completely, so if you're a fan of a dewy finish this isn't the SPF for you. It also blocks pores, for those with already enlarged pores or pores prone to blocking this is likely to make the problem worse like it did for me! I first noticed when I wore it whilst exercising and my face didn't sweat! It really is a strange product, especially if you have combination/sensitive skin, I'd go for something else!

Thick, Hard to Blend, Bad Under Make-Up

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

Despite the brand’s claim that this sunscreen wears well under make-up, it very much doesn’t. It has a really thick and heavy consistency which made it hard for me to blend out properly and made any foundation/concealer that I put on top of it look patchy and cakey. As I hate to throw unused products out, I’m only going to wear this sunscreen over the weekend as I’m usually make-up free on those days however I certainly won’t be buying it again.

Not worth it

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have combination skin and I'm very pale. This may be the worst sunscreen I have ever tried. I wouldn't recommend this. It has tint, which I don't mind. But after you applied spf it peels off your skin leaving stains all over your face. It doesn't matter how much you apply it can't be blended into your skin. And when it's on your skin for hour or so it's makes your face look patchy. Not worth it, I expected much more from The Inkey List. I love this brand, but this specific product need to go.
