Use in the AM, apply liberally to face and neck as your last step after moisturizer. If a white residue is visible, this should usually absorb into the skin, allow 2-3 minutes for absorption before applying make-up. Use 15 minutes prior to sun exposure. Reapply frequently particularly if perspiring, swimming or towelling.

Amazing!! 23 acne prone, dry skin from products.
First time I used it. Straight after moisturizing and about half an hour after my other skincare serums etc. Blended well had no issues of a residue or anything. The serum is probably a few shades darker than my skin but you can't really see it when it's on. However, I do have very fair skin and tan orange, I also went from using pretty much just zinc oxide (very thick and white-does not blend but is the ultimate protection on my retinol sun-sensitive skin. I'm fair enough that it wasn't too obvious) so this is definitely better that. that! I also don't often wear makeup so I don't know how it would work with that on top. I would recommend using a tiny amount then building on that in certain areas.

Tinted?!
I bought this thinking it would be a regular sunscreen, at worst leaving a white cast, but no - it seems to be tinted and leaves my face weirdly orange! It clings to certain areas, is really hard to blend because it’s so thick and dries immediately, It doesn’t agree with my foundations either, so I can’t even cover it. Definitely don’t recommend!

Pills and gathers around hairline, not good!
I have loved all The Inkey List products I have tried so far except this one. It goes on very thick and gathers on my hairline, then starts pilling after a few minutes. Applying makeup on top makes my skin look very dry and speeds up the pilling process... It´s not a good look at all! I really hope they reformulate

Terrible
Really hard to spread - dries up almost immediately after putting on your face and also pills a lot. I applied it after my normal skincare (which is pretty minimal) and while I was trying to rub it in, I ended up with brown/orange bits all over my face.

Love it!!
Love this sunscreen, I have dry/sensitive skin. It is quite thick but suits my skin perfectly, using a good amount does have a slight white residue when rubbing in but once evenly applied it goes away, it's not sticky and it has a great texture.

Not good
This sunscreen was awful for my skin. It always pills, is hard to rub into the skin and broke me out and it feels like silicone. Not impressed!

Not a cute look :(
As much as I love this brand, this sunscreen was a complete let down. It turns gloopy when you try to rub it into your skin and leaves a horrible white cast. I would not recommend this for POC. I tried using it on my body as well to try and use it all up but my skin just ends up looking ashy.

Clogged Pores
I love The Inkey List but this SPF clogged my pores. Still in the healing process. Highly disappointed.

Not great
Seeing some of the other comments, I also agree it's sad to leave this review but this SPF doesn't live up to what it promises. I find it super difficult to spread and rub into the skin, and the colour separates from the SPF defeating the point of the tint, and leaving white cast on my (medium tone white) skin.

Might work for light skin?
Not a great formula and doesn't smooth out. Also, it's a terrible option for POC as there is a strong white cast! I looked ashy and like a ghost sadly.
