Skin care doesn't have to be confusing. The INKEY List is on a mission to debunk beauty jargon and put the power of knowledge in your hands. Its straight-talking range includes all the industry's best-loved heroes (from retinol to hyaluronic acid) in no-frills formulations that deliver incredible results. Introducing the Succinic Acid Treatment (15ml), a lightweight formula that works to minimise the look of blemishes and redness.
Got blemishes that just won't budge? Meet the Succinic Acid Treatment (15ml) from The INKEY List.
Suitable for all skin tones, this lightweight formula works by gently exfoliating away dead skin cells and reducing excess oil without stripping away essential moisture. It's enriched with 2% succinic acid (a bio-based chemical that's derived from corn) which helps to minimise the look of spots, while 1% salicylic acid unclogs pores and comforts redness. To finish? An infusion of hyaluronic acid delivers intense hydration and long-lasting radiance.

Average
Quite disappointed with this product. It’s quite strange in texture - very liquid and very green. Didn’t work as effectively as my origins blemish treatment used to! Not a fave,

Doesn't leave dry patches!!
Love this product, it takes a few days but it gets rid of spots quicker and leaves less hyperpigmentation afterwards too. Most spot treatments really dry out the area or are have a physical sticky barrier, this treatment fully absorbs with no residue and leaves the area feeling moisturised. And you barely need any for each blemish, it will last ages!

Really happy with it
I was scared this would dry my skin out like other blemish treatments, but it really doesn’t. It’s not an overnight miracle treatment (nor should it be), but it’s a great product. With it being such a vivid green colour, it stops you from over applying too. Really happy with it.

Very average
I purchased this after reading rave reviews and so far I’m not that impressed. First off it smells really bad and is hard to stomach so close to your nose! Secondly it didn’t reduce any breakouts quicker than salicylic and was very drying. Won’t purchase again.

Works slowly but steady
It really works without drying your skin but don't expect it to work in one day. A few weeks and sorted!

Poor
I’m well versed with BHAs. I use Paula's Choice 2% BHA and my skin regularly sees treatment with other skin actives. I gave this a go based on both reviews on the Cult Beauty website and on YouTube. Every YouTube video about this product is sponsored and so claims are grossly over exaggerated. I bought 2 tubes of this. I used it on a nasty pimple I got in my hairline, a place I don’t usually use other actives, and it made very little to no difference the following day. We know very little about succinic acid, however, this preparation contains 1% SA. Even if succinic does nothing, the salicylic should. I wouldn’t buy again and barely use the ones I have. Disappointed

Works amazing
I was skeptical at first cause spot treatments don't usually work well for me but this cleared out all of my pimples and calmed down my skin

Not a Genie in a bottle
I really wanted this to work, but unfortunately, it made NO difference no matter how many times I applied it. Will not repurchase.

Didn’t really see a difference
I’ve been using this for probably about a month now and other than the colour of the product being green which neutralised the redness of my blemishes, I couldn’t see any real difference a day or two after using the product. Love their other products but this one didn’t hit the mark for me.
