The worst
This product is the worst. It made me breakout and made my face really dry

Consistency is key
This is a very gentle product, and so the brand advises to wait 6 weeks before seeing results. This is NOT going to change your skin overnight. However, if you're willing to wait a bit, it really does work. I have oily sensitive skin, and this, like all the other The Inkey List products I tried, even those I didn't particularly like, didn't cause irritation. I had a lot of breakouts lately, and using this three times a week helped to clear up the pesky hyperpigmentation that's left behind. The consistency is gel-like, which I love, and the packaging is wonderful. Will definitely repurchase.

Slow results
I have incredibly persistent acne scars on my cheeks, that have been impossible to get rid of. I've been using this every second evening for the past month and a half, and my scars have lightened slightly. It also helped to bring down redness to few new zits that popped up. Texture-wise it's like a thick gel that spreads easily on the skin (no silicone feel which I appreciate). The product has a slight chemical smell, which doesn't bother me personally - it's really subtle, and dissipates quickly. If you're willing to wait for the results - this could be a good product for you. However, don't expect results immediately - it's a really slow and gentle process. The price for the amount of product you get is really fair :)

It really works
I started using it in early May of 2021 when it was recommended to me by a friend because I had very bad sun damage on my forehead and the side of my face since 2009. I use it with alpha arbutin/kojic acid, alongside pure vitamin c and a freshly juiced vitamin e gel mask, and the difference is clear. My skin is going back to its original state, I love this and highly recommend it.

This. Absolutely this.
This is just magic in a bottle. I’ve been using this for about 5 weeks now and my skin is the clearest it’s ever been and my hyperpigmentation is noticeably lighter. Would recommend this time and time again.

Really helped
Using this alongside the ordinary's niacinamide & it's helped clear up my skin so much! Definitely seen a big improvement on my hyper pigmentation & it's even carried me through an exam season relatively scot free. Honestly my skin looks better than ever & I've even gotten compliments on it :)

Medium skin tone approved!
After seeing some reviews mention that this product works particularly well in combo with The Ordinary’s “Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA”, I decided to try the same. As such, I can only comment on how they work together, and not just this product on its own. That said, my medium (I’m South American) acne-prone skin is loving this combo! Because my skin is also quite sensitive (and because I don’t like mixing too many active ingredients in one go), I alternate using my acne-prevention products (namely, Differin) one night, and this combo the next. It’s only been a few weeks, but I’ve noticed a BIG difference in my acne scars, and other small bits of hyperpigmentation: they’re definitely lighter! Worth noting that for deeper sun damage (I have some more stubborn hyperpigmentation on my cheeks) it’s only helped a tiny bit. But still, so impressive! I highly recommend it!

Back acne scars
It's really good for fading hyperpigmentation, but it smells bad.

Magic in a Bottle
I have suffered from hyperpigmentation for the longest time and literally, nothing worked (even tried picosure laser). The Tranexamic Acid showed results within a week and I’m OBSESSED. My face looks clearer and brighter and my confidence is back. So glad I found this magic in a bottle!
