Powered solely by ascorbic acid (AKA vitamin C), this treatment is an effective antioxidant that brightens and evens out skin tone for a more youthful complexion. Want to know how? It provides the most direct exposure of extremely high concentrations of vitamin C topically. Okay, but how do I apply a powder to my face? Let us divulge... this powder can be mixed with other serums, creams or moisturisers (except those containing niacinamide or EUK 134) so it will slot in perfectly to any ritual.
Ascorbic Acid.
For the latest information, it is recommended to review the ingredient list printed on the packaging of the product prior to usage or consumption.
Mix a small amount with other treatments in the palm of your hand and apply to face in the AM or the PM. A tingling sensation can be expected after application. Do not mix with formulations containing Niacinamide or EUK 134.
If topical Vitamin C is used as part of skin care, it should be applied at alternate times with EUK 134 or Niacinamide (ideally Vitamin C in the PM and EUK 134/Niacinamide in the AM). Otherwise, EUK 134/Niacinamide can affect the integrity of pure-form Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid).
Top Tip: A very strong tingling but non-irritating sensation is to be expected during the first 1-2 weeks of use while your skins tolerance to vitamin C is elevated.

Such a great form of vitamin c. I like to mix it with a serum mist, I just find that's the easiest way to mix it in my hand. I only recommend it if you're into skincare and can be bothered to mix the powder. Also for 1st time Vitamic C users - be cautious as it is very potent

Really nice product
I love using this product mixed with the Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid and Drunk Elephant Protini moisturiser in the mornings. Need to find the right amount for your skin, and tangling at first is to be expected. But get the measurements right and it leaves skin feeling smooth and bright. A lot of product in the pot - I think it will last a long time! I love other more expensive Vitamin C products like Drunk Elephant C Firma serum, but this product feels strong and potent as well. Highly Recommend.

Allergy reaction!
I used to like The Ordinary. But I recently noticed that a few of their products caused me allergic reaction, including this one, and the AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution. Areas around my mouth and eyes became painful, itchy, swollen and red. It took 2-3 days to get back to normal. I don't have allergy-prone skin and I have tried many different brands. This is the only brand and I am allergic to. I will not buy this brand anymore.

Strong but useful and versatile
Strong as it's pure Vit C, great for mixing with other stuff. I mix it occasionally with Lactic Acid or Hyaluronic Acid. I do not use it often. There was some tingling but nothing too annoying. (I have combo skin prone to acne, a little bit on the sensitive skin side)

I am not one for writing reviews but this powder surpasses all my expectations. I ordered it after reading so many positive reviews about it. My God, it did not fail to impress me. I suffer from hyperpigmentation and I have used so many high-end products with no good result. The very first day I bought this powder, the next morning I was surprised by the result. It was literally starting to clear the hyperpigmentation areas on my face. I can honestly tell you that I am hooked on it now and it has become a big part of my everyday skin care beauty product. I don't think I will ever be without it. Measurement is very tricky but once you've got it right you will understand what I am talking about. My skin can tolerate one measuring spoon

I have sensitive skin so I thought a powder form of vitamin C would be very easy to work into my morning routine. I tried using it mixed in with my serums, creams and even sunscreen. And I found that it still burns sometimes and my skin flares up like a mini chemical burn. I'm not mixing it with anything it shouldn't be mixed with and haven't used it after using retinoids or acids the night before. So, I am still confused as to why it causes a reaction on my skin sometimes. With all that being said, I still didn't see a change even on the days when it doesn't flare up my skin

Love Love Love The Ordinary - 100% L-Ascorbic Acid Powder
I have been using this powder on and off for over a year to give my skin radiance boost. I have mixed this powder with about 5 of The Ordinary's other products and I got the best results with the 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil. These two together = Power Couple!!! I use it at night cause of the smell. I noticed my old acne scars disappearing within a week. It's my go to post break out routine. The sting was strong for the first 3-4 days and then it was fine. It did irritate my neck at first but that also gradually stopped.

Tanning
Everyone says vitamin C brightens the skin and reduces pigmentation but this product has tanned my skin rather than brightening it. My skin looks duller since I have started using it, my sister has also observed the same effects.

By far the best Vitamin C product I have ever used!!
I have been using this Vitamin C powder as an all over body treatment. I mix this into either almond oil or organic pure shea butter. This has dramatically improved the hyperpigmentation I have had on my arms and legs. Any scratches that have caused pigmentation I have had has nearly gone or they are nearly invisible. I go through a little tub a month and I use this daily after showering. It did tingle slightly but you build up a tolerance fairly quickly. I would recommend this not only for the face but for the body as well.
