Amazing facial oil
The Ordinary is such a great choice for basic but effective skincare. I needed an oil to use at the end of my skin care regime as my face has been feeling extra dry recently (even though hopefully we’re seeing the end of winter soon!). The Ordinary’s rose hip oil is such a great choice as there are no other ingredients mixed in. It is so moisturising and great as an occlusive to hold in all my other serums and creams at night. Have definitely noticed a difference already.

I'm not getting it
Why are the reviews so good. At best this product does nothing, as a standard it just makes my face look greasy and on a bad day it causes me to breakout. The problem is there are some really great components of rosehip oil that are great for the skin, but not in the concentrations needed to do anything. The good parts need to be isolated from the oil and concentrated into a serum. This is just a very oily gimmick in my honest opinion.

Great skin essential
Lovely all round oil, helps plump and hydrate at a great price. Be careful to put the lid back on quickly as exposure to oxygen can turn any Rose Hip Seed oil rancid by the time you reach the bottom of the bottle. 3rd time purchasing this oil, the dropper makes it super easy to use and my skin loves it.

The best skin oil
I used to use The Ordinary’s Squalane Oil and it made my skin soft but found it a touch heavy for me – my skin still felt very oily in the morning – so decided to switch to rose hip. Really prefer it! Much lighter, still very moisturising and no beak outs. Combines with my nightly skin routine perfectly.
