Looking to enhance your skin's hydration and radiance? Cue The Ordinary's Pycnogenol 5% (15ml).
This oil-like serum is packed with pycnogenol at a 5% concentrate, a powerful antioxidant derived from the bark of French maritime pine trees that helps to brighten while maintaining the skin's moisture levels and elasticity. It also protects your skin against damage from free radicals (AKA UV rays, dust and smoke). Plus, a quick FYI due to its potent nature, this oil has a deep red colour, which does remain on your skin but can be washed off. Get treating...

A powerful antioxidant
If you want to add another powerful antioxidant to your skincare routine look no further. I’ve been using this in the morning along with the inkey list EGF vitamin C serum for about a year and my skin has never looked better. I add two drops to my moisturiser daily and follow with sunscreen.

Light oil
Feels nice and warm as it glides on. No irritation.

Repeat user
Has replenished this thrice now. The consistency needs getting used to at first, but it leaves my skin plump and smooth. I also find that it helps control facial oiliness when used in the morning before makeup.

Love it!
I mix a couple of drops in my moisturiser which makes it go on really smoothly. I love the glow my skin then has all day. I really love it!

Great product however…
So a very good product. You see results the next day and your skin glows. However after 4 days of use, my skin broke out in little pimples. So I’ve stopped using the product. May try after a few weeks again. Shame as it’s a good price point and delivers results.

Brilliant product!
I've used a lot of products from The Ordinary, and this is easily one of my favourites. It evens out my skin tone, plumps up my face, tightens my fine lines, reduces texture and seems to temporarily reduce the size of my pores, as well. I use it every third night, and the next morning my skin generally looks beautiful. Like other reviewers, I've found that the best way to apply pycnogenol is to mix it with my moisturiser. I put some creamy moisturiser (It Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream) in my hand, add two drops of pycnogenol to it, mix the two together and then apply the mix to my face as the final step in my routine. I often apply a few drops of The Ordinary's Amino Acids + B5 or a retinoid beforehand. Those combinations seem to work very well for me. I highly recommend using the product this way.

Mildly irritating
Sticky and warm on the skin. After 10 mins or so, I break out in a rash, which lasts for about an hour. It does leave my skin dewy and pores looking smaller though while it's still on my skin - so recommended for that. Do a spot test before slathering loads on before you head out!

LOVE THIS
I gave this a try as it was recommended to me. I use it after hyaluronic acid and before my moisturiser. I absolutely LOVE the feel of it on my skin! It adds plenty moisture and gives my skin a plumped and smooth healthy look and feel! I will definitely re-buy and continue to use!

This stuff works
This has made my skin so soft smooth and looking healthy in such a short space of time, I’ve replaced the Buffett with this as it does a better job - I’d never have thought that possible given it’s just one ingredient the Buffett has peptides etc , but for me this is just better as it really makes my skin look so good . Shame it’s a small bottle but you do only need 2 drops.
