My fave The Ordinary product

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

On my 5th bottle of this. Skin is more even and looks much more nourished from the very first use. I layer it on lactic acid before bed and wake up to beautiful skin. Only drawback is the weird smell and consistency. Some nights it’s enough to make you not want to use it!

Great product

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

To be honest, regardless of the times I have read the benefits of using this..I still don't actually understand where it fits in to my skin care routine or where to incorporate it to get the best results..I use so many different products, I often feel I may be using a few products like this incorrectly. However causes no irritation, no breakouts..it's a lovely product to work with. But not sure I see a difference. So hense am I using it wrong?!

Must have

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

Been using it for years now. It is dupe for a quiet expensive one popular on the market. You are required to use it for a while to see effects, not sure if I actually see them but I treat it more like an investment to my skin. It may give a bit of a healthy hue to the skin as i add a drop or two to my am/pm cream.

Greasy

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

It is a greasy serum, I had a problem to layer it, it can stain your pillow too. Didn't notice any benefits/change, it made my skin more oily. I won't buy it anymore.

A powerful antioxidant

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

If you want to add another powerful antioxidant to your skincare routine look no further. I’ve been using this in the morning along with the inkey list EGF vitamin C serum for about a year and my skin has never looked better. I add two drops to my moisturiser daily and follow with sunscreen.

Repeat user

Has replenished this thrice now. The consistency needs getting used to at first, but it leaves my skin plump and smooth. I also find that it helps control facial oiliness when used in the morning before makeup.

Love it!

I mix a couple of drops in my moisturiser which makes it go on really smoothly. I love the glow my skin then has all day. I really love it!

Great product however…

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

So a very good product. You see results the next day and your skin glows. However after 4 days of use, my skin broke out in little pimples. So I’ve stopped using the product. May try after a few weeks again. Shame as it’s a good price point and delivers results.

Brilliant product!

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I've used a lot of products from The Ordinary, and this is easily one of my favourites. It evens out my skin tone, plumps up my face, tightens my fine lines, reduces texture and seems to temporarily reduce the size of my pores, as well. I use it every third night, and the next morning my skin generally looks beautiful. Like other reviewers, I've found that the best way to apply pycnogenol is to mix it with my moisturiser. I put some creamy moisturiser (It Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream) in my hand, add two drops of pycnogenol to it, mix the two together and then apply the mix to my face as the final step in my routine. I often apply a few drops of The Ordinary's Amino Acids + B5 or a retinoid beforehand. Those combinations seem to work very well for me. I highly recommend using the product this way.
