great serum

I have used it with Ordinary's l-ascorbic powder mixed in when I needed a little bit more brightening effects on my skin. Always restock it. A little sticky in texture .. Great for hyperpigmentation.

A must have

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

This a potent anti-oxidant. It does close to what Vit C does but is less volatile as L ascorbic acid & almost as effective. I love this serum & also use it as spot treatment for pimple scars left behind. It does what it is supposed to do i.e. lessen redness, depigmentation & scars. A must have, try it if vit c is too much for you. I have spoken in detail about what are peptides & ceramides & actives & what they do on my igtv channel @hajanders & spoken about The Ordinary's products too in length. Do check it out to learn more. Thank You.

Great to get rid of hyperpigmentation

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I'm mixed raced and being a melanin queen is nice but it also means that any spot I get leaves a big brown mark on my skin. I've been using this product to fade them for the last 2 years probably (maybe even more) and it helps for sure. I can see that my marks are now fading much faster. This will forever have a place in my skincare routine!

Faded the stubborn sun marks

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I had hyperpigmentation on my chicks due to excessive sun exposure. So, I thought of trying Alpha arbutin to get rid of dark spots and hyperpigmentation. I use Alpha Arbutin 2 % + HA serum in conjunction with Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% suggested by Deciem team. However I have notice t reduction in my dark spots but I do like that my skin looks very hydrated and plum. I will definitely repurchase it.

The ordinary Alpha Arbutin

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

Due to prolonged sun exposure, I experienced hyperpigmentation on my chicks. To remove dark spots and hyperpigmentation, I therefore considered using Alpha arbutin. Along with the Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% that the Deciem team advised, I take Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA serum. But I haven't been using it long enough to see a long-term decrease in dark spots, and I like how hydrated and plump my skin appears.
