So oily! Eeeww

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

I love using vitamin C in my A.M. skincare routine and, having found out that my skin cant take no more than 10% ascorbic acid before it gets irritated, I thought this serum was going to be just perfect for me. The addition of alpha arbutin sounded promising too. However, on opening the bottle I sadly found out that this is a water-free serum and this makes it so very oily! Given that this serum was not going to be used as a last step in my morning routine, I found it impossible to use. Layering of different products didn't work either, obviously; it caused pilling. I don't see how anyone can incorporate this serum in their regimen, unless maybe if you've got very dry skin, although the idea of applying SPF or even just moisturiser after this makes me recoil. I guess it could be used on the P.M. but I use tretinoin in the evening so for me it was a no-no. I had to stop using immediately so I cannot vouch for the efficacy of this product. Shame, as it could have been very good with the right percentage of vit C and alpha arbutin...

Amazing serum, clears skin and leaves it glowing. Fine lines look reduced and have experienced no irritation. I've lost count of how many bottles I've purchased!!

Works, but!

I would say this products brightens the skin in general & somewhat helped improve very dark spots but I can’t get passed how oily it is, it doesn’t absorb very well

Very good

I use this with the Ordinary 0.5% retinol and it has helped massively with my red acne scares. Also noticed I have a nice glow (I also use niacinamide and hyalauronic acid and the cerave face wash for reference).

This brightened my skin in three weeks. The drastic effects died down after that but It has helped maintain my skin and complexion. Love this product

Hydrating

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have been using this serum now for over a year. It really helps to keep my skin nice and hydrated, and (in combination with some other serums) has definitely cleared up my skin and reduced a lot of my hyperpigmentation.

Face brightening

My face looks so clear and radiant after using this and it gives me the confidence to go make up free. I've had compliments about my skin since introducing this into my morning routine. I love it, so far so good.

It makes wonders

I had been struggling with adult acne and dullness. I also have sensitive skin. My dermatologist suggested I use a topical Vitamin C and this worked wonders!

Great for Dark Marks

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is amazing for my skin. I use it every other day at night. Literally 3 drops is more than enough for my face, neck, and hands. Any more than 3 drops and my skin doesn't absorb it and I eventually have to wipe it off. I get a nice glow to my skin after applying it. It feels like an oil (absorbs quickly and smoothly) and smells like a vitamin C packet that you open and put in a glass of water. My face has a subtle but growing glow and my dark marks and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation are lighter/fading (some of them, including years-old hyperpigmentation marks, are gone). A bottle of this every other night with two full pipette/droppers lasts me about 3 months which is amazing in terms of quantity and price.
