The Ordinary has firmly cemented itself as a leader in science-backed skin care. Taking the guesswork out of building a regime, it ditches unnecessary, filler ingredients for familiar, hard-working actives that deliver promising results. Enter the Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin F (30ml), a hydrating vitamin C oil that grants skin with a radiant and plump appearance.
On the hunt for a vitamin C that's gentle on your skin? Cue The Ordinary's Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin F (30ml).
Powered by an oil-soluble derivative of vitamin C (also known as ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate), this lightweight treatment is designed to brighten the complexion while reducing the appearance of an uneven skin tone and dark spots. And, unlike direct forms of vitamin C, this formula is hydrating and gentle on the skin. Plus, with the infusion of vitamin F, this potent cocktail delivers a hefty dose of fatty acids (AKA omega 3 and 6) which help to protect the skin's moisture barrier. Cue luminous results...

Ineffective
I subbed this in for Hylamide's 25% Vitamin C Booster, since it's about £10 cheaper, but I'll be going back to the more expensive option. I've been using it for about a month now, and it just hasn't made any improvement to my skin, if anything it's dulled again, and I find the consistency too thin and oily, compared to the Booster. It also smells weird, like old water. As for the Vitamin F, I've seen no other improvements I could attribute to that - again, my skin felt bouncier using Hylamide.

I love it!
I have been using this for nearly 12 months now with Alpha Arbutin, and Retinoid, and have found that not only is the combination lightening my melasma, but it seems to keeping my wrinkles at bay too!

After a false start now I love it
This took a little while to figure out how to use. I have very sensitive skin.Originally I was putting it on after my serum and it just broke me out and caused irritation. I ended up putting in the fridge putting a few drops in my body oil, thinking it was a wasted buy. However, after priming my skin by using the 10% MAP cream for several months I tried again. This time buffered it, putting my serums and growth factors on first and then mixing this with my The ordinary moisturizing cream along with the revisterol serum, and only use 1 or 2 drops for my whole face and neck, followed by a vitamin e oil along with my SPF. I was worried Id get the same reaction but after 3 days my face is looking clearer and brighter. Now I have figured out how to use it without breaking me out I love it.

It works
Oils generally does not work for my mixed to oily skin type but this one is different. I was hesitant but you don't feel the oil for long, it is absorbed quickly and it hydrates. My skin is glowing! But I have to say that I have also been using other Ordinary products at the same time so I am not sure how big the impact is. But overall they work very good.

Game changer
I am very skeptical with The Ordinary products as I've tried so many from the past and none of them works. But this is a total game changer. First of all I have acne prone and combi skin and suffers from uneven tones and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (caused by acne). It has dry oil texture and I apply it after Jan Marini Bioclear Lotion (the only one that controls my acne) and before my moisturiser. After 4 months of usage (i'm on my second bottle now), my skin has never been so clear and even; although I still get my hormonal acne but the scars fades faster (than before) and my skin has the 'glow' that I need for natural 'glass skin'.

Made my skin worse
I’m so disappointed with the product, made no difference whatsoever. Have been using it for 2 months, left me with more spots and scars. purchased this as the reviews were so high it obviously didn’t work for me.

Absolutely mind blowing!
Been using for 2 to 3 months along with The Ordinary retinol. I'm totally over the moon. I've been told my skin looks like that of a 40 year old, and I'm 54!

Good Product
My skin type is oily with acne scars and large pores. I have been using this product in combination with the Resveratrol and Ferulic acid everyday during the morning before make up. My skin is much better and I found my blemish scars have vanished. I have already purchased one so would continue using it until it's empty. However, I would like to purchase and try other vitamin C derivatives from The Ordinary.
