Not a gimmick
This actually works!! I’m always sceptical when it comes to magic solutions for under eyes as they rarely do the job but I can honestly say that I see a difference the very next morning when I use it. Really lightens the shadows under my eyes. The only downside is that it makes my concealer a bit drier than usual so don’t wear it during the day.

Does nothing for dark circles!
I was “wishin' and hopin' and thinkin' and prayin'” this would work on my dark circles, do something even small to change them- it did absolutely nothing #gutted #thesearchgoeson

No improvement
I love The Ordinary so really wanted this to work on my dark circles. Packaging and texture of serum felt as luxurious as usual, but unfortunately after using a whole bottle I saw no improvement to my dark circles. Also difficult to put eye makeup over, so reduced to just evening use.

I don't really have dark circles and I didn't buy it for that,so I can't say if it's good for that,but I bought it because it has caffeine(of course) which is a natural spf (slightly,like a 5,but still better than nothing).I also saw after it has lactic acid in it,which I don't know if I should be happy or sad. Lactic Acid is good for wrinkles, especially that u can't use acids under the eyes so this one has really small concentrations I guess,but the thing is I bought it for the "spf" so now it has lactic acid which you would need Spf for, so I guess I have to start using it only at night then.
