I love it but...

When you put this foundation on, it looks amazing. The only things I would say is the yellow undertone is quite orange but apart from that it’s really nice

Good Tint

Very watery and clings to patches of dryness on my skin. I only use it to mix with my lighter foundation when I have fake tan on.

The ordinary coverage foundation

I really like this foundation, especially for its price tag. I love the way it makes my skin look flawless. However it doesn't last on me as long as I'd like it to, unfortunately, I may be too oily. Other than that it's a really good every day foundation. I will repurchase.

Needs improvement

Good medium coverage. Separates in bottle, highlights dry patches, cakey on the T zone after 30 minutes, unfortunately the foundation needs development. Also increased blocked pores after using for longer period. I love The Ordinary brand and use many products regularly but definitely not this one.

I have been using this product for over a year and think it’s the best for coverage which lasts all day at a fantastic low price.

I do not know why this is so cheap. My face is oily in some places and dry in others and I’m really not a big fan of my freckles. This foundation is the only one I’ve found so far that matches my skin tone just right and stays on through the whole day and works with my oily ness and dryness at the same time, and I’ve tried a lot. This really should be so expensive. Everything I’ve bought from this brand has worked like a dream but this is my favourite for sure. Please buy it. X

This is the worst foundation I've ever used. Oxidized to a pale orange after ten minutes of wear, and by half an hour it settled into fine lines and any imperfections on the skin. If you have mild acne or dry skin, this accentuates your flaws. I can make a foundation work usually, and I really wanted to believe in The Ordinary because I LOVE their other products, but this went straight in the bin after the third use. Friends even commented that my skin looked bad - in a caring, honest, girl-you-look-f%*ked-up way I'd expect from those closest to me. After using Too Faced Born This Way and then L'Oréal True Match (when I had less money) for years, I was excited to use a product that had the same visual appeal as dream matte mousse. I purchased the new Pixi foundation which is an actual medium-high buildable foundation that doesn't damage your skin.
