The star of the show in this balm-to-oil wash is squalane (no surprises there), a first-class hydrator that's found naturally in the skin, which helps to prevent moisture loss and boost the skin's suppleness. You can either alternate using these cleansing heroes or double cleanse with both by working as a team to wash away the day and to prep your skin for the rest of your routine.

I really like The Ordinary and have used the squalene cleanser before with good results. It was the first time using the glycoside foaming cleanser, still a little unsure. My skin has become red and spotty in parts and I’m still trying to work out if it’s this causing it

A perfect duo
I use this for double cleansing and it's an essential part of my daily routine. The Squalane cleanser efficiently removes light makeup and grime after a long day, and the Glucoside cleanser is effective and super gentle on my sometimes very dry skin. I also sometimes use it on my 3yo toddler as a wash (it's designed to be that gentle). Also, at 150ml they last for ages (2-3 months for me) - so great value!
