Love it
I was afraid to try it since my skin is supersensitive but its not irritating for sensitive skin. Of course first two times, skin feels little overwhelmed but that's the part of process. Would recommend to everyone with sensitive skin to give a try if they are looking for gentle yet effective exfoliator.

Good exfoliator
I have dry, sensitive skin and so far this product has worked well for me. I haven't had a negative reaction and it makes my skin look a little brighter after application. However, I haven't noticed any miraculous changes in general.

Really gentle exfoliator
I love this, it's really gentle with the added benefit of HA. It really plumps your skin too and leaves you with an amazing glow. I love that this is a really gentle exfoliator, with lactic acid being a more gentle AHA and a lower percentage, as there aren't enough gentle exfoliation products and too many really strong peels everywhere!

How does this work so well
I genuinely don't understand. I've always described my skin as 'stubborn'. It never responds to new products so quickly. But even after waking up from the first application of this, my skin had been visibly smoother, clearer, plumper, and just feels good. I'm in awe. I've been using 3 other The Ordinary products for almost 3 months with no big changes but only used the Lactid Acid 5% twice and it's my favourite.

Love it
Love this product so much. I have sensitive spot prone skin and when I put this on at night in the morning my skin is clear, softer with a radiant glow. It doesn't cause any irritation at all. So far it hasn't helped my hyperpigmentation/acne scars but I'm hoping with some long term use it will help.

Glow glow glow...
I keep coming back to this one. I find the 5% strength *just* right for use no matter how my skin’s feeling. It’s never irritating, yet always delivers the softest, glossiest baby smooth skin the next morning. It’s cult.

Perfect bottle of glow
I love this acid. It's not too strong for my sensitive skin, but it still does the job of smoothing out texture and making me glow. I use it 2-3 times a week, and it seems to be plenty to keep my mid-30's skin healthy and exfoliated.

I liked it overall, however...
...every time I used it, I would get one or two small spots the following day. I tried to stick with it for more than a couple of months. I combined it with different products to see if it would keep those pesky whiteheads from popping up, but to no avail. I have oily/combination skin, so I’m already prone to breakouts every now and then, and - frankly - didn’t want to deal with one or two more.
