The Ordinary has firmly cemented itself as a leader in science-backed skin care. Taking the guesswork out of building a regime, it ditches unnecessary, filler ingredients for familiar, hard-working actives that deliver promising results. If you love the heroic hydrating power of hyaluronic acid (we're talking locking in ultimate moisture to your complexion) but want a lightweight alternative, look no further than The Ordinary's Marine Hyaluronics (30ml).
Intensely hydrate and nourish your complexion with the Marine Hyaluronics (30ml) from The Ordinary.
Designed to be a lightweight alternative to The Ordinary's Hyaluronic Acid + B5 (sold separately), this formula attracts and holds moisture just like hyaluronic acid, but lighter in texture. Starring *deep breathe* marine bacteria, Hawaiian red algae, glycoproteins from Antarctic marine sources, micro-filtered blue-green algae and amino acids, it attracts and holds water to leave your complexion looking plump and moisturised. Need we say anymore?

Fantastic!!
I pray they forever keep this product because it’s amazing!!! Does what so many other bands promise from marine derived ingredients but at a fraction of the price-has calmed ALL redness on my face and yes, doesn’t smell great but oh my is it worth it!!!

It works!
Yes, it does smell bad. But it also works really well! And the smell doesn't last once you have put it on, especially since this is something that is great to use underneath more creamy products so it gets covered up anyways. Has become part of my daily routine.

Nice hydration but the smell....
This serum gives me really decent hydration that I didn't really expect from such a watery formula. It amps up every face cream and makes it way more effective. It doesn't clog my pores and it actually soothes already existing breakouts. And the price is great as always with The Ordinary. But the smell. I've read some reviews and thought that some people are just way more sensitive and I wouldn't mind it. Oh, boy was I wrong. I do have to breathe through my mouth when applying this and I'm not exaggerating. I love how it works but I'm not fully sure I'm going to buy it again.

Hope will be as good as hyaluronic acid.
I'm a fan of all the products of The Ordinary and wanted to try this one because contains hyaluronic acid, but is very watery and the smell tho OMG. It stings. I'll give it a try but doesn't feel like the normal hyaluronic acid.

On point
Very watery consistency, so I get about five drops in the palm of my hand and apply to my face gradually, drop by drop with a finger. Hydration is awesome, the only downside is the smell, but it's not unbearable, just not the most pleasant one :)

Amazing
I didn’t realise how dry my skin was and how much it was contributing to my acne until I started using this. Everyone complains about the smell but tbh it’s nothing. A faint whiff and then it’s gone. And I’m on my third bottle so have tried different batches. It’s thin so you apply from the dropper and pat it into your skin until it feels sticky wait less than a minute and it’s gone. I apply it in the middle of my routine right before my vitamin c in the morning or my retinol and night. I think it speeds up my skincare routine because once I put it on it feels like it forces everything you put on before into your skin and you can layer on your final steps quicker. In case you can’t tell I’m a huge fan.

I just don’t know...
I have extremely sensitive skin that is acne/pimple prone and this hasn’t broken me out which is a major plus. I do think it’s given my skin some moisture. But the smell... oh the smell. It’s horrible. Do not get this anymore near your nostrils or worse in them. The consistency is very watery so it’s kinda hard to apply as it runs straight down my face when I do.
