Great formulation

This is a much better, lighter formulation than a resveratrol serum i have tried before and it mixes really well with anything else I want to apply it with. Love it!

Love it

I use this in combination with my ascorbic acid, and I feel that it has really helped to brighten my skin up. I remember stopping this and my ascorbic acid for a month due to laziness, and my skin started looking dull and tired again. It really makes a big difference.

Loved the product

I loved the product but the texture changed quickly and I think it went off so had to dispose of it after a couple of months

Lovely light serum

I have used these actives before in a serum from another brand but found the consistency too tacky for my liking. This formula from the Ordinary is lovely and light and I use it both directly and sometimes mixed in with my moisturiser. So nice!

Far harsher than advertised

For a few weeks now I have suffered redness and a rash on my temples and cheekbones when using this product. The side effects are calmed by using moisturiser with it but I was very very surprised to have a reaction. I do not have sensitive skin and have never reacted to a product before. It’s stronger than people seem to suggest in the reviews. Oily texture also doesn’t rub in that well with my oily skin.

A must have

Resveratrol can do both, neutralise free radicals & boost antioxidant levels, so your skin can better defend & repair itself. With Ferulic acid forms a secure barrier as well as contributes to the skin's healing process, helping reduce dark spots and uneven pigmentation & helps with breakouts. So it is an amazing anti oxidant concoction f two potent ingredients. I loved it. I used after (next day) of having used an AHA or vit c previous night. It is mild & this bottle lasts long if you use it once or twice a week. A must have & this one by the ordinary is a hit, they've got it right as most of their products. Get it. I have spoken in detail about what are peptides & ceramides & actives & what they do on my igtv channel @hajanders & spoken about The Ordinary's products too in length. Do check it out to learn more. Thank You.

Great alternative to vitamin c

This is a good alternative to a vitamin c, doesn't sting like some vitamin c can. Has similar effects (brightening) and is a good antioxidant for during the day.

Nice!

I bought this to use in place of my $ Vitamin C serum and used it for a few weeks. I really liked it with some other T.O. products, but then I read that I shouldn't be using it with all the other serums I had been pairing it with :) Now I'm not sure where to plop it into my routine. It's a nice serum, feels like an oil at first, but apparently it's anhydrous. I just have too many serums now and don't know when to use them! :)

Ok!

Was using drunk elephant vitamin c mixed with ferulic acid , which was a super light and thin formulation that I loved for my oily skin. I bought this to use with the ascorbic acid powder as a cheaper substitute and it’s great , it just feels a little oily and takes so long to sink in to skin before my spf which adds time n the morning and leaves my face feeling a little sticky. Otherwise a sound and cheap mixer for my favourite  ingredient .
