The Ordinary has firmly cemented itself as a leader in science-backed skin care. Taking the guesswork out of building a regime, it ditches unnecessary, filler ingredients for familiar, hard-working actives that deliver promising results. And the Retinol Serum 0.2% in Squalane (30ml) is a highly stable, high-strength serum featuring 0.2% pure retinol.
A powerhouse form of vitamin A housed in soothing squalane, the Retinol Serum 0.2% in Squalane (30ml) encourages cell turnover, revealing healthier, softer skin.
This stellar serum works hard to minimise the look of fine lines, dark spots and blemishes, while improving skin texture and tone... and we'd be happy with that, but there's more. Supported by squalane (a moisturising ingredient naturally found in your skin) you can expect your complexion to appear smooth and hydrated, with any dryness that can come with retinol use being reduced. We've got heart eyes just thinking about it...
Squalane, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Retinol, Solanum Lycopersicum (Tomato) Fruit Extract, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, BHT.
For the latest information, it is recommended to review the ingredient list printed on the packaging of the product prior to usage or consumption.
Apply a small amount to the face in the evening, after water serums but before heavier treatments. Do not use with other retinoid treatments and avoid unprotected sun exposure. Store in a cool, dry place.

Great for spot-prone skin!
I have been using this product a couple of times a week for a while now to help with my spots, and it's been great. I haven't used retinol before and I do have sensitive skin, so I started on the low concentration, but had no adverse reaction and so will be moving on to the higher concentration soon. The Ordinary's range is so worthwhile.

Love this, I've really noticed a difference in my skin and don't hesitate to leave the house without foundation anymore.

Good for initial skin improvement
I’ve recently been having some skin outbreaks and because I hadn’t used retinoids before, I decided to go with this low concentrate. I’ve definitely seen an improvement and had no irritation but on the flip side it is a bit greasy and I think I’ll have to up the dose to see better clearing of my skin. You can’t argue with the value though and I’ll definitely be trying more ordinary products!

Great
Leaves my skin super soft. It is a bit oily so allow some time to absorb before putting on your cream. No peeling since it has a low retinol concentration.

Good product
It's a good product, however, I prefer products not so greasy.

Wow!
Purchased this a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it, my skin has never felt so good, it didn't irritate my skin (which I was sceptical at first) my pores certainly look better and even the slight sun damage I have has faded so will be purchasing this again and then moving on to 0.5. Would recommend this product.

Well it moisurises...
I've been using this nightly for 3 weeks. I'm late 30's have large pores and areas of pigmentation. It moisturises but doesn't seem to do anything else. No peeling or irritations, just greasy moisturiser. I'll try the 0.5% to see if this does anything, Wouldn't recommend.

Great product
Have only been using this for a week but am really pleased with it. I use it every night before night cream. Yes, it is a bit greasy but by morning it has all soaked in a treat. Only on first use did I experience a little bit of sensitivity. Make sure you use sunscreen each morning and maybe stop using it for a week before going on holiday and whilst away to make sure you do not experience any problems.
