Great product for the price
This was my first experience using retinol and I found this product to be a great introduction to it. I used it every night as part of my skin care routine and had no adverse reactions. I used the bottle up quite quickly but I did feel my skin looked more plump and vibrant. I’ve not been able to repurchase due to it being sold out so tried to pixi retinol tonic and I definitely don’t have the same glow. It took about 2-3 weeks to see any improvements but I’m very happy. Will definitely repurchase!

It's okay
I think this is very nice and mild if you have just started to use a retinol. I personally have not experienced any side effects and haven't also noticed any real improvements. I have increased my use to 4 times a week and will try to further increase to daily with a 1 day a week rest. I will use the product to the end and possibly move to a stronger retinol before really investing my money in something more expensive.

Retinol is the best for anti ageing
Retinol is retinol. I went straight to 0.5% as been using a fairly weak retinol for some time. And it's been very kind to the skin so far and I've had the desired effect. I have been using above moisturiser though.

A must have!
After one use my skin looks noticeably clearer, so much so that I haven't felt the need to use makeup today! Experienced no discomfort from the retinol either! Really impressed with this product! Highly recommend!

LOVE IT!
When I bought this I was in two minds whether it was going to work or not. So far I am impressed, with one application I have seen a change in my pigmentation. I woke up really happy this morning as usually products don’t seem to work usually. But this is a must!

Excellent value for money.
I am normally one to trust the effect and quality of a product of its more expensive but having heard so many people recommend this, I wanted to try it out. I think it is brilliant- texture is good and easy to apply. The smell is pretty neutral. Hasn’t aggravated my skin in any way (I know some retinol does this) and my dark acne scars have definitely started to fade a little. Have only been using for about 3 weeks so looking forward to seeing results continue.

Great retinol to get you started
If you're new to using retinols this is a great one to start with - the dosage is low so you can build up your use before moving up to the higher dosages in the range. Really nice formula too and easily absorbed, it also works well with other products.

Wow!
I have super problem skin - combination oily/dry, baby pimples all over my cheeks, large pores on my nose, and after using this (in conjunction with Vit C 8% Ascorbic Acid/2% Alpha Arbutin, and with a light physical exfoliator beforehand - so the product really gets into the skin) my skin is already starting to clear up and pores are visibly smaller. I never write reviews, but it's crazy that a £5 product can do wonders like this in just a week. I also always wanted to use a serum / oil-like product, so I feel like I get that feeling from this, but with it working with my skin. I can't wait to see the long term results!

Fantastic
I have been using the Ordinary retinol at night (and the Matrix in the morning) for several months and my skin looks the best it has for a long time, in fact, several people have commented on how great my skin looks (two of them I hadn't seen for some time) so I can only assume it's this product. My skin looks so smooth and it feels soft, never dry. Can't recommend this product enough. I don't think I'll ever give it up. Incidentally, I didn't suffer from any redness when I first started using it (which was the 2%).

Love this stuff
I've heard all sorts about retinol (good and bad), but decided to give it ago and at less than £5, you can't really go wrong. Anyway, after a few months now it's safe to say I love this stuff. My skin is better now than it was 5 years ago, possibly 10! Fine lines have gone and my skin tone is more even. I am blown away by the results from a product with such a small price
