Formulated from a unique combination of colour pigments suspended in the brands proprietary spreadability system, this lusciously lightweight serum glides on for a smooth, subtly perfected, semi-matte finish that lasts all day without settling into fine lines. For an ultra-natural result, its available in 21 versatile shades, ranging from very fair to very deep and each classified according to its undertone. P shades stand for pink undertones, R for red, N for neutral and Y for yellow, so you can suit your skin tone to a tee. As if you needed further convincing, the formula also offers SPF 15 sun protection without the use of chemical sunscreens.

At last
Having searched high and low for the right foundation I am so glad the search is over. I am in love with this brand and this product in particular. I mix this with my moisturiser and am loving the result. I was unsure of the right shade so bought two. Why not the price is amazing. Definetly recommend.

Was sceptical about buying a new foundation online, but I used my current colour of foundation to work out my match for a few different brands (light/neutral/pink tones). All foundations in store were at least twice the price of The Ordinary and there were no testers available to try…so I decided to take a gamble…it totally paid off! Not only was the colour pretty much perfect, the price is so affordable that I’ll be sticking with this brand for life! The foundation is VERY liquid, but not at all oily and goes on with brush like a dream! Very happy as I have very sensitive, dry skin.

Perfect Coverage
I’m not a big make up person, and like a light natural coverage. This product has been absolutely perfect for me, it matched my skin shade perfectly, it’s light and blends beautifully, I can build up coverage as I need to without it becoming heavy or cakey. It leaves a lovely dewy glow on my skin.

I love this serum foundation, I mix 2.1y with 2.0yg to get the perfect match. It is also perfect on its own. I have combination skin and get breakouts now and then, so I don't like heavy foundations. 2.0yg is a tad bit lighter so I use it as a concealer for my under eyes. I have yellow undertones. For the first time in my life I actually enjoy wearing foundation. It feels like nothing on my skin, it has enough coverage to even out your skin tone for a natural look without leaving your skin feeling heavy. I will be buying more.

Natural finish
Lovely natural finish. I love the texture and feel and it looks so natural despite providing decent coverage. The reason I have given this 4 stars is that this literally transfers onto ANYTHING. Despite this, this is still my fav foundation for dewy skin.

Perfect Foundation
I tried this visiting my daughter when I’d forgotten to take my own foundation. I was very impressed by the coverage and the fluidity. It suited my “older” skin perfectly, so I ordered my own and very pleased with it too.

Not much to say
This foundation is definitely not terrible per se, but it’s not amazing. It takes a lot of building up to get it to look decent, and you need to use a primer underneath, especially if your skin is oily, as it is NOT oily skin friendly in the slightest. It started to really separate around my nose and chin and I’ve decided I’m not going to wear it anymore, partly because I can’t find my shade and it just isn’t for me. Plus it smells kind of yucky, like paint and clay with chemicals.

This is not a foundation
This serum gives off a light tint, the lightest colour is too dark for me and I'm not that pale. This will slide off if you touch your face and it never fully dries unless your skin is very dry.
