This multipurpose powerhouse uses a modified sulphate derivative called SLES-2 (at a minimal concentration of just 4%) as a cleansing agent to dissolve the barrier between dirt and oil on your skin, scalp and hair. I was quite excited to buy this shampoo, as I enjoy many of 'The Ordinary' products. I have thick long hair with natural colour, so I like to use different scrubs or deep cleansing shampoos every other wash. Unfortunately, it took a massive amount of product to just cover my scalp, there is little to no foaming and it was quite a poor product to work with, feeling almost dry, which is strange. Once rinsed and left to dry naturally, my hair was very dry and left feeling stripped. I couldn't in good conscious, recommend this product. The only circumstances I can think it would be useful, is if you're hair is very greasy or you have extreme built up. Use it as a second wash, then proceed with a third wash and conditioner with a different brand. Too much bother to be worth it. P

Great shampoo, my hair has been a lot better since using this
I’ve been using this for about 8 months now, and growing my hair out from shaving it off. My hair is definitely a lot shinier and healthier than before, and I can go longer between washes. I have used a similar (but more expensive) product before and I would say this is actually just as good, if not better, it doesn’t foam much so bear that in mind. You don’t need to use much either.

Good option for fragrance free bodywash
The shampoo combo body wash, I only used it as body wash. I have used this cleanser a couple times now and I feel that it does a very good job of cleaning. I honestly didn't expect much but this sulphate cleanser is really very good. The cleanser lifted lots of impurities from my skin and the dead skin just washed away.

Great shampoo
I'm on my second bottle and I'm definitely going to buy more. I have fine hair with oily scalp and this shampoo helps to clean my scalp whilst being gentle at the same time. I use it along the Ordinary conditioner. I've used an incredible amount of shampoos and I can honestly say, this one is one of the best and for a great price.
