The Ordinary has firmly cemented itself as a leader in science-backed skin care. Taking the guesswork out of building a regime, it ditches unnecessary, filler ingredients for familiar, hard-working actives that deliver promising results. A case in point is the Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% (30ml), a gentle serum designed to smooth, brighten and plump.
Want to improve the appearance of dull, lacklustre skin while you sleep? Cue The Ordinary's Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres (30ml) treatment.
At the centre of this water-free formula is L-ascorbic acid (AKA the purest form of vitamin C) which remains completely stable due to the absence of water. Famed for its brightening abilities, this acid reduces the appearance of an uneven skin tone and dark spots. That's not all though; with the infusion of hyaluronic acid spheres, this treatment also hydrates and plumps the skin. It's ideal to use at bedtime, so you can wake up with a radiant, supple and more youthful-looking complexion.
Ascorbic Acid, Squalane, Isodecyl Neopentanoate, Isononyl Isononanoate, Coconut Alkanes, Ethylene/Propylene/Styrene Copolymer, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Glucomannan, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Butylene/Ethylene/Styrene Copolymer, Acrylates/Ethylhexyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Trihydroxystearin, Bht.

Apply a small amount to the face once daily, ideally in the evening. Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes. Use sun protection during the day. A tingling sensation can be expected; if the sensation is too strong, the formula can be mixed with other oils of your preference before each application to reduce the strength.

Great value Vitamin C skincare
I love The Ordinary skincare range. Tue price is amazing, especially as I noticed a difference in my skin tone & firmness within a few weeks of daily application. One thing to note, is that when applying at night, it can transfer & stain bed linen, do each evening I swap my pillow & pillowcase with an old one.

Skin looks visibly brighter!
From using this cream only a number of times you could visibly see the difference in my skin! It was brighter and I felt more confident having no make up on! Would highly recommend as a cheaper vitamin C cream!

Does its job
Pros: Extremely cost effective option, and I've noticed a difference in wearing this a few times a week within the first few weeks of use. Cons: Like other reviews note, the texture is slightly gritty, but I find applying this and then moisturising gel over the top means this doesn't bother me at all. Perhaps like some other Vit C products (?), I find this stains t-shirts and pillowcases really badly (so I only apply once I'm dressed for work, with sunscreen over the top).

Vitamin C
Use this with my other the ordinary products. Hope with continuous use it’ll eventually fade my acne scarring.

Vitamin C
I used this years ago and it worked quite well. I think the texture is alright when I mix it with my moisturiser.
