Taking its name from a star constellation – as well as a Greek mythological queen, Cassiopeia, who was famed for her vanity – The Seated Queen was founded by the sisters, Josephine and Libby Banks who sought to supercharge their nightly ritual. Good things happen at night and The Seated Queen’s multi-use Cold Cream is packed with replenishing, vegan and traceable extracts to nurture your skin, start to finish. From cleansing and melting your make up to feeding your skin as you slumber (it makes a luxurious overnight mask), this hard-working hero is also a feast for your senses – brimming with heavenly oils to encourage tranquillity, lessen your stresses and ease you towards a restorative sleep.
An intensely replenishing cleansing cream, The Seated Queen’s The Cold Cream is a multi-tasking marvel that dissolves your make up, double cleanses, makes a soothing mask and a rejuvenating night cream.
Powered by single-source, organic ingredients of the highest quality, the vegan formulation is the surest way to streamline your regime. Described as ‘pared-back skin care for busy people’, the formula is gloriously versatile – delivering a hit of moisture, free radical-fighting antioxidants and skin-essentials fatty acids thanks to cold-pressed oils of rosehip (to elasticise), borage and sunflower seed, safflower, argan and apricot kernel – all of which work to negate the effects of aggressors and offer the nutrients needed to keep your skin supple and luminous. With a heavenly scent due to oils of patchouli leaf, lavender, clary sage, rose otto, bergamot, chamomile and frankincense, this potion is also a treat for your spirit – helping to foster a feeling of peace and bring calm at the end of a loooooong hectic day. So, whether you have a few minutes or full half-an-hour for much-needed ‘me time’, allow the The Seated Queen to elevate your nightly ritual.

Beautiful cleanser
This is a great replacement to my Kate somerville cold cream cleanser that has been discontinued. I used it more as a hydrating mask, really soothing and nourishing. Came with a lovely hair band as well

Spa like cleanser
This is my evening treat, love using before bed. Having fairly sensitive/unpredictable skin, I can sometimes find cleansers leave my skin feeling tight and tender but not with this product. Also seems to keep my skin in good balance. Really love using it as an overnight mask too, you can tell the difference in the morning, noticeably hydrated and smooth - thank you Cult!

Not for sensitive skin
My skin started burning as soon as I'd put it on, ended up washing it off after 5 mins. Strange texture - felt drying despite being such a thick cream. Does smell gorgeous though.

Mixed feelings...
Ok I know this product has lots of 5 stars and so it should. Great as a mask. But... Maybe I'm not using it right as a cleanser. It doesn't have a lot of room to 'melt' the makeup. Say Elemis or Emma Hardie cleansing balms would melt away when you work it, this does almost opposite as in harder to message more you work it. I actually have two pots of this. I no longer use it as a cleanser but as a mask. Still love it though.

Amazing
Wonderful soothing, calming, gentle cleanser for my reactive skin, even on days when it’s flaking, red, and stinging with any product that comes near it. I use this routinely as a first cleanse, sometimes for both cleanses, works amazing as a mask too.

Amazing
Got this in my Liberty advent calendar and haven’t had dry skin all winter, which is some kind of miracle! Would never really have considered cold cream but I am a convert.

Best cream for my skin!
This is the best cream I've tried for my combination/acne prone skin I've really struggled to find something that helps with dryness and does not break me out but this does the trick.

Really like this stuff but…
…sometimes it needs an extra kick up the backside with some rose hip oil (or similar). Feels very old school glamour popping this on!

Amazing (Combination Dry skin in the winter) Unsure about masking with it
Beautiful cream that feels so hydrating and nourishing and healthy for the skin. My skin looks amazing the morning after I apply it and it's kept my skin hydrated in the colder months. I've tried using it as a mask and it's really difficult to get it all properly off unless you use loads of cotton pads or a rag.
