This is a lovely oil, much thicker than others I’ve used but still sinks in well and gives a lovely healthy glow to the skin. Have taken a star off for the price, I think there are other oils available that are just as good for much less.

Blown away
One of the reasons I like the CB boxes is to try new things. They have been excellent value. This oil was such a wonderful surprise. I absolutely love it. I had no expectations but my preference for oils are the one's that feel really cosseting on the skin, and not the ones that sink away to nothing (no-oil-oil). This is a generous bottle, sumptuous and lasting and enhancing nourishment. I would definitely buy this again.

Surprisingly amazing.
I never leave reviews to be honest but I was so surprised by this oil I decided to share my experience with it. First of all, I received this in the Skin Enhancer Edit box and did not know how much the oil alone cost so I know that may (understandably) be a deterrent for some but the shelf is great for an oil and a little goes a long way. I’ve never really been a fan of oils on my skin, I tend to have oily dehydrated skin that’s a bit reactive and a lot of oils I tried seemed to either make my skin too oily, break out or weirdly dry. I’ve been quite ill recently and my skin was a bit of a mess. Dull, a lot drier than usual, sore and I had an absolutely hateful beast of a spot just under my chin. Super inflamed, extremely painful and just there waving hello every time I looked in the mirror. I tried so many spot treatments, patches, serums etc in an attempt to defeat it but it just stubbornly refused all my attempts. For two weeks it’s just smugly sat there mocking me. I decided to try the oil last night, more out of desperation than any real belief it would do anything to be honest. Firstly, the texture was nice. Not too thin and watery and not too thick and hard to massage in. It’s very orange but this isn’t visible once you’ve applied it but I would be careful around bedding and clothing as it may stain if it drips anywhere. It’s scented but thankfully very lightly so and pleasant. I applied 3 drops after misting and hoped at the very least it would help with dry, irritated and dull patches of skin. I did indeed wake up with calmer, brighter looking skin but was more surprised by the effect it had on my little friend. It had completely reduced the size and redness of the cursed thing. No longer did it look like I had grown an extra chin under my face. It’s finally been beaten into submission. The mountain is now a molehill. I’m hoping a few more days of continued use will finally destroy it. This oil has now won a rare place in my skin care essentials. It is the first product I’ve ever used that’s actually helped with managing the painful cystic spots I’m prone to getting in my chin and jawline area and I will now never be without it. It does contain camphor extract (lower down the inci list) so if you’re sensitive to this it may, unfortunately, not be suitable for you but I find extracts tend to not make my skin react like pure essential oils do. Sorry, I didn’t mean to write a whole blog post on this one oil but it’s been a long time since a product surprised me. If you’re prone to painful cystic acne though I would definitely try to get a sample to test it out for yourself.

Lovely Luxurious Oil
This is a really lovely silky face oil with a golden hue. It sinks into the skin very quickly and has a very pleasant natural floral/botanical scent. I use this at night and always wake up with soft, comfortable skin and a healthy glow. Would recommend for most skin types!
