Designed to soothe and hydrate without feeling sticky, greasy or heavy, this fragrance-free formula grants a subtle, matte finish and a smooth, even skin texture. Its protective prowess stems from zinc oxide, which protects your skin from damaging UVA and UVB rays while working to soothe the look of redness. Plant-derived pentavin lends the blend a refreshing hit of hydration, and antioxidant-rich kakadu plum helps to guard your complexion against free radicals... All in all, this SPF is one that your face (and ears, and neck) should never be without!

Was searching for a good mineral sunscreen for ages, preferably with zinc, I hate those chemical sunscreens, usually I get burnt more than if I was wearing none. This does the job, 50 SPF was what I was searching, but without the white cast and usual overwhelming oiliness that comes with the "natural" brands. I like it a lot, it is not oily, it is not cloying, lets your skin breathe and it is not drying or totally matte, really. It is just great to use, nothing bad can be said about it. Good for dry skin as well, try not to get put off by the "matte" description, because it is really not that matte at all, but it is not shiny also. It is in the perfect middle.

the SPF with pros and cons
Let's talk about the pros and cons of this SPF cream. Pros are the following: 1. Looking at the ingredients, it's a safe and trustworthy cream 2. It's tinted, so it's perfect for fair and light skin types. 3. It does what it says. It does mattify my skin. Cons are 1. It is hard to use as it often pills together with other (makeup) products. 2. It sometimes dries out my skin, even in the summertime. (My skin type is combination one). I suppose it should be great for oilier skin types. 3. It has a thick texture, and it takes time to apply. 4. The packaging should be improved as well.

I have tried several of the ultra violette sun screens. They are all lovely and have no white caste. I found lean screen to suit me best as it doesn't make me look oily and the colour complements my skin tone. All of them last a long time too!

I have repurchased this many times. My skin is combination and I never wear chemical sunscreen. This sees me through all seasons come rain or shine. No white cast on my medium skin tone. I just wish it was cheaper. Hence the 4 stars, otherwise perfect

First of all - this isn't mattifying at all, if anything I think it's hydrating. I have sensitive, eczema prone skin and can wear this day in, day out without any irritation. It doesn't sting my eyes either. I'm quite fair and it is probably a shade too dark for me but it is not that noticeable if I blend around the neck/jaw area. This is my favourite SPF and I have repurchased it repeatedly.
