Designed to soothe and hydrate without feeling sticky, greasy or heavy, this fragrance-free formula grants a subtle, matte finish and a smooth, even skin texture. Its protective prowess stems from zinc oxide, which protects your skin from damaging UVA and UVB rays while working to soothe the look of redness. Plant-derived pentavin lends the blend a refreshing hit of hydration, and antioxidant-rich kakadu plum helps to guard your complexion against free radicals... All in all, this SPF is one that your face (and ears, and neck) should never be without!

Not sure how I feel…
I have mixed feelings about this SPF… been wanting to try this brand for ages and when I finally took the splurge, I felt kinda disappointed… even though I have oily skin and find this SPF great for those with the same skin type as me, I think that its texture is way too thick and has a strange tone to it. I normally prefer more liquid sunscreens and this one, even though works good on my skin type, is very hard to distribute evenly, so I always find myself using more SPF than I need.

If you want bullet proof SPF protection, this works.
I struggled with this product at first and only preserved with it because I had spent the money. I found it thick and had a strange tone - very different from the lighter facial sunscreens I had been using. However, once I adjusted my routine it suited me very well - so much so that I am on my second bottle. It completely melts into the skin, so the initial tone blends well and does mattify. The essential thing is that during this heat wave I avoided all sunburn which I always suffered occasionally with other creams - it gives fantastic coverage and lasts all day. The tube though is poorly designed (reduced star) and leaks at the top which is really annoying but not a deal breaker. Great reliable product for SPF protection.

Not bad, and I would say that it does stay and keep your face matte. It is much thicker than I thought it would be, but it doesn’t leave a white residue due to the slight tint. The issue I had was that when applied to my neck, I had a reaction. So I’ve kept it face only, and will try something else next time that is a little lighter in texture.

Best mineral sunscreen for sensitive skin
This sunscreen does not irritate my very sensitive acne prone skin at all, which is very rare for me. It comes out of the tube looking very thick and greyish but blends like a dream on my fair skin! The colour almost adapts to my skin tone leaving it slightly blurred in the most subtle way. In terms of the finish, I would describe this more as a demi-matte, almost satin finish. It’s not drying and it doesn’t emphasis pores. It’s not the best in terms of reapplication though. I usually reapply a powder SPF / spray on top of it during the day. It’s also not water resistant or humidity proof.

Not for fair skin.
I bought this previously in a try me kit from Cult beauty. I had been so looking forward to trying it as I have oily, hypersensitive skin and don't do well with chemical spf. Let me start with the positives, it is genuinely non greasy and is very good for sensitive skin. Despite those two positives it is completely overshadowed by the colour. If you have skin any lighter than light-medium this will not work for you, it is far darker than the other 2 tinted formulas in the Ultra Violette range, I wish there was an option for non tinted. I have very fair skin and this was so dark on me i had to bronze all visible skin and it still did not match my face, I truly looked ridiculous, then there is the consistency. I can only liken it to putty, it is so stiff it is uncomfortable to work into the skin.

Hmmmm but sticky!
The sunscreen has a lovely texture, great hint of a tint. Which is a cool undertone, no orange here! My only disappointment is that it has a sticker finish than I thought with it being a Matt SPF. It could be how I used it? Will definitely give it another go and see if it’s any better. Other than that a lovely product.

Thick but great
I have this and the moisturising one! I used this on holiday in Italy and kept my make up in place and from getting burnt! It is thicker to in texture to its hydrating counterpart (yellow one) but it does apply well once on skin and warmed up.
